Bullshare - 08 Feb 2007 09:36

The London Stock Exchange are reducing their charge for Level 2 Private investor data from 15 to 6 per head effective 1st April 2007.

Our new level 2 pricing will be published in due course.

We will be offering a free trial for all our users from 2nd March to 31st March 2007.

Mike

Dil - 08 Feb 2007 09:49 - 2 of 51

How much is the free trial Mike ?

:-)

Iain - 08 Feb 2007 15:55 - 3 of 51

Do you do terms?

Bullshare - 08 Feb 2007 16:04 - 4 of 51

Iain. Yes APR of 100% :-0)

skinny - 08 Feb 2007 17:26 - 5 of 51

Bargain !

Dil - 08 Feb 2007 19:42 - 6 of 51

Can I have two ?

Iain - 08 Feb 2007 19:57 - 7 of 51

Mmmmmmmmmm. Is there a cooling off period?

KEAYDIAN - 08 Feb 2007 21:51 - 8 of 51

Say NO to the Welsh.

Spaceman - 08 Feb 2007 22:05 - 9 of 51

Any chance of a discount on the free trial?

Big Al - 08 Feb 2007 22:20 - 10 of 51

I think they should be paying us to trial such a new-fangled approach to trading.

I mean would anyone try something this revolutionary, free or not?

Seems awfully risky to me.

PS - I'll let you know Sunday whether Wales should be the first to test it. ;-0

Seymour Clearly - 08 Feb 2007 22:21 - 11 of 51

By this time next year the LSE will be paying us 3 per month to use their L2 data - unless Mike takes a cut ;-))

STORMCALLER - 09 Feb 2007 00:17 - 12 of 51

Mike,

As a newly qualified member of Her Majesty's unemployed...I wondered if you could perhaps see your way clear for an extended-payment plan for the fiscally challenged regarding the free-trial???

Regards

SC

Bullshare - 09 Feb 2007 08:35 - 13 of 51

Stormie. We only do extended schemes for folically challenged not fiscally :-)

Socrates - 09 Feb 2007 10:03 - 14 of 51

I'm in then.

mpw777 - 09 Feb 2007 13:00 - 15 of 51

Is the 6 per week, month or year
I am a long time user of Market Eye(via t.v. aerial) who have just intimated that they are withdrawing the facility to provide Leval 2 for which i was paying 132 per year.
It was so handy as per a right click i was in level 2
I know Mrket Eye quite well as a long time user. They tell me that thier clint uptake of Level 2 is so very very small that the extra cannot be continued despite my protest
I cannot understand why a sunscriber paying the annual cost of real time Mrket Eye facilities does not pay the token extra for Level 2
ANY COMMENT BY ANYONE??

IanT(MoneyAM) - 09 Feb 2007 13:04 - 16 of 51

mpw777,

The 6 is the actual licensing fee we would have to pay per head for L2 users to the LSE per month. As Mike said above, we will be announcing any pricing changes in due course, so please keep an eye on this space. Also as stated, we will be giving a trial of our level 2 service throughout march, so please feel free to try it out then to see whether it is suitable for your needs,

Ian

STORMCALLER - 09 Feb 2007 13:11 - 17 of 51

Mike,

Would that be to help you out...LOL

Anyway, I qualify on both counts...:-)

SC

Big Al - 09 Feb 2007 15:39 - 18 of 51

You beat me to it, Storime. ;-0

STORMCALLER - 10 Feb 2007 00:44 - 19 of 51

BA,

Great minds think alike...:-)
(or in my case great minds think alike....and I plagiarise..LOL)

jkd - 11 Feb 2007 17:02 - 20 of 51

ive never seen this or how it works, seems to me however that if its "better" than real time prices then someone ought to be paying me for inflicting such pain on myself.
i think its called in some circles self fraggelation, or something like that.
not that im into devinci.
sc everyone does that, doent they? theres nothing new under the sun, nice to see someone is well read.
best regards

MightyMicro - 11 Feb 2007 23:26 - 21 of 51

jkd: Best way to find out what it's about would be to go to the Active Investor Live event in March (see a thread near this one).

DocProc - 13 Feb 2007 09:17 - 22 of 51

After the sad news concerning the Level 2 fee reduction from the LSE, Bullie takes delivery of his new boat.

DocProc - 13 Feb 2007 09:23 - 23 of 51

The MoneyAM cutbacks continue to have an effect as the IT staff also downgrade their boat.

Big Al - 13 Feb 2007 09:26 - 24 of 51

Do they also carry invisible planks of wood around too? ;-0

Spaceman - 13 Feb 2007 11:33 - 25 of 51

Al, it must be your extreme old age, I can clearly see that plank....

Big Al - 13 Feb 2007 12:04 - 26 of 51

No surprise there, then.

It's called senility old timer. ;-))

Sputnik - 13 Feb 2007 12:26 - 27 of 51

Reflections on Senility

God grant me the Senility
to forget the people I never liked anyway,
the good fortune to run into the ones I do,
and the eyesight to tell the difference.

Now that I am older, here's what I have discovered:

*

I started out with nothing,
& I still have most of it.
*

My wild oats have turned into
prunes and All Bran.

*

I finally got my head together,
now my body is falling apart.
*

Funny, I don't remember being
absent minded..

#

All reports are in;
Life is now officially unfair.

#

If all is not lost,
where is it?

#

It is easier to get older
than it is to get wiser.

Some days you're the dog;
some days you're the hydrant.

#

Kids in the back seat
cause accidents.

#

Accidents in the back seat
- cause kids!

#

It's hard to make a comeback
when you haven't been anywhere.

#

Only time the world beats a path to your door
is when you're in the bathroom.

If God wanted me to touch my toes,
he would have put them on my knees

*

When I'm finally holding all the cards,
why does everyone decide to play chess?

It's not hard to meet expenses...
they're everywhere.

These days I spend a lot of time thinking
about the hereafter...
I go somewhere to get something
& then wonder what I'm here after!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 02 Mar 2007 08:24 - 41 of 51

we had some technical issues we have had to delay a little, but we will let you know as soon as it is available.

Ian

IanT(MoneyAM) - 02 Mar 2007 08:29 - 42 of 51

Just so you know we will be starting the trial on Monday Morning now, delay has been caused by the issues we had yesterday and we want to make sure we have resilliance for our existing Level 2 subscribers before going ahead.

Apologies for the delay, but I am sure you can understand why we have done this.

Ian

lizard - 02 Mar 2007 08:31 - 43 of 51

thanks.

lanayel - 05 Mar 2007 08:31 - 44 of 51

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2007 09:43 - 46 of 51

Ian

Dieng - 05 Mar 2007 10:01 - 47 of 51

Ian ... in the trial sign up, it says free access for 1 week. I thought Level 2 free trial was upto end march, irrespective of when sign up. I am currently 'Premium' (10) and interested in seeing Level 2.

(see 3rd para "You will then have access to the full services of MoneyAM including Level 2 for one week as a test drive").

Please could you clarify, as I'm currently holding off, until my 'clearest' full week.

Thanks, D.

patsym - 05 Mar 2007 10:24 - 48 of 51

Ian I can't see how to access the trial

could you point me in the right direction

thanks

patsy

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Mar 2007 10:28 - 49 of 51

Diebg,

It is until the 31st March, the text you are seeing should be removed. I will get onto it.

Patsym, Simply go to the thread at the top of the Bulletin Board called try moneyam level 2 free until 31st march, you will find detials there.

Ian

DocProc - 05 Mar 2007 11:58 - 50 of 51

IanT

More haste = less speed.

:-)

lizard - 05 Mar 2007 12:09 - 51 of 51

iant- lets hope moneyam can make it more favourable than its competitors who charge far too much for a service that is just isnt that costly via LSE.

on average charging 5X LSE price. from new levels.
