In the US tonight, The Dow Jones Industrial Average gave up early gains and was
recently down 19 points at 12,628, with 17 of its 30 components in negative
territory.
The S&P 500 fell 2.4 points to 1,448, while the Nasdaq Composite dropped 13
points to 2,501.
In Asia today, the Nikkei closed down 95.43 points at 18,119.92, while the Hang Seng ended the morning down 243.61 points at 20,264.34.
New York Mercantile Exchange's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for delivery in April, had advanced by 20 cents to $61.59 a barrel from $61.39 in late trading in the US overnight.
