Had bought into cp. early last week and then saw L2 turn so sold. Saved the annual subsrciption within 2 hours.

this is so obviously MAM promoting itself. please dont exaggerate L2 its not that great!.
the month was useful and pricing more appealing but if LSE are charging 6 and MAM charging about 23.50 its still over priced imo. under 20 inc VAT.

If you look at

No lizard, that is the price of the whole level 2 package, which includes the next lowest package at 10 per month as well as level 2. The price of level 2 on its own would be 19.99 less 10 = 9.99 + VAT (if it were sold that way), and 9.99 is what you must compare the 6 license fee to.

Aaaargh lizard. If you know that watch lists on their own are 10, why can you not understand that to get level 2 as well as the watch lists you are paying an additional 9.99?
IanT(MoneyAM)

Iain,
10 + Vat a month and no :)
Lizard, I think the point Kayak is getting at is that Active costs 10 + Vat per Month, which gives you realtime level 1, the Level 2 cost which includes the Active service, as part of its subscription is 19.99 + Vat per month.
I hope this clarifies for everyone,
Ian

i get it for sure @23.50.
ian -its cheaper and worth considering just wished it was priced inc vat under 20 threshold. considering the LSE have moved from 15 to 6.

OK, last post on the subject, lizard, before I assume you're just an April Fool come a day late :-)
The 6 per user license fee payable to the LSE for level 2 does not include VAT nor does it include level 1 prices or news. MAM does not offer a package which is just level 2 without watch list. If it did, you would be able to compare their price against 6 + VAT.
If you take the price of level 2 to be 23.50, then in order to have a meaningful comparison with LSE licence fees you need to factor in not just the 6 licence fee to LSE for level 2, plus the VAT thereon, but also licence fees payable for level 1 real time prices, news, etc, which is all included in the 23.50. Otherwise you're just comparing apples and pears.

Akudzin,
We do from time to time run free trials, otherwise it would be on a monthly basis.
with regard to your second question, advertisements help us to keep prices lower on the site, such as with this new Level 2 price, due to the revenue they create, We do try to balance the users needs with the advertisements as best we can,

Andy,
Level 2 does include all the features you would have had on Active, and you are right in asuming that the trades will not show if they are made via the PLUS market
cyberraja,
You can open as many windows on one machine as it can cope with, and as pointed out, there are six tabs on each level 2 screen you can switch between. If you take out a yearly sub, and at some point decide you do not want to use it anymore, you simply contact us to give us 1 months notice of downgrade and we will then refund any outstanding balance,

Hi - I currently subscribe to Shares (on a direct debit) but dont have any sub to MoneyAM.
Am very interested in getting level 2 (had a trial last month) on MAM. I also see that Lev2 subscribers can get Shares Mag for 74.
This is favourable compared to the 129 pounds of my current sub.
If i did take up level 2 at 20+vat could i change my sub to Shares to the cheaper version?
Tried to do it online (Lev 2 + 74 quid sub) but it came up with an error several times.
Whats the best way to go about this?
Thanks

Stegrego,
To be eligible to take the magazine at 74 you would need to take out an annual sub, as the magazine can only be added to a paying annual MoneyAM sub. I will E mail you with the details,
Ian
