Good morning traders!

In the US last night, the Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped 61.1 points to
13,759.10, as investors consolidated strong gains posted last week after the
Federal Reserve's rate cut. The S&P 500 fell 8.02 points to 1,517.73 and the
Nasdaq Composite slipped 3.27 points to 2,667.95.

In Asia today, the Nikkei was recently up 88.1 points at 16,400.71. The Hang Seng
ended the morning up 29 points at 26,580.94

Crude oil for November delivery fell 55 cents to $80.40 a barrel in electronic
trading, from its close at $80.95 on the New York Mercantile Exchange Monday.

He described how, in the space of a minute, five bank trading desks independently telephoned him to relay the same false rumour about the bank. Youve got to think its being orchestrated when five different trading desks contact you with the same bit of hot news, he said.
