Hello traders!

In the US tonight, the DJIA was up 68.72 points at 12,548.35, while the S&P500
gained 9.42 points at 1,385.35 and the Nasdaq Composite was up 36.57 points
at 2,481.24.

Good mornin traders!

In Asia today, the Nikkei ended the morning 56.78 points lower at 13,836.53,
while the Hang Seng was recently down 21.97 points at 24,260.07.

New York's main oil futures contract, light sweet crude for July delivery, shed 5
cents to $128.80 per barrel.

Falling consumer confidence in America allied to the continued drop in house prices is pointing to the lowest level of spending since the 1950s, official data showed yesterday. According to the Conference Board's consumer confidence index, the outlook of Americans last month was the most gloomy since October 1992, with expectations for the future declining even further.
