Hello Kyoto

Your contributions here are really, really useful. Like many others, I
appreciate your input immensely. I also used to find the regularly updated gold and silver prices in GBP and US$ very useful. Any chance of reviving this feature?

Hello midknight - thanks for the feedback. Some of the news feeds changed recently, and amongst other problems this has caused I know I'm missing some of the stories I used to post on this thread because of them. I'll have a look at the metals commentaries and see if anything can be done.

Kyoto - 17 Dec 2008 16:53 - 41 of 42

I've looked into this now and it's apparent that the precious metals and other commodity summaries are no longer being regularly carried by MoneyAM's news, probably because the provider (AFX/Thomson) aren't doing them now. There were a number of changes after Thomson merged with Reuters, and I think we've lost some AFXU news in the last few months as well.

For what it's worth I use these sites for some metals news:

http://www.kitcometals.com/
http://www.minesite.com/
http://www.resourceinvestor.com/

I'll keep my eye on things and if they reappear at some point then I'll should be able to start posting them again.
