Christmas Cancelled.

Fred1new - 17 Dec 2018 14:06 - 16 of 50

Skinny,

Have you a longterm short running.

skinny - 17 Dec 2018 14:09 - 17 of 50

Fred - annoyingly not - my last one was closed late October

CC - 17 Dec 2018 14:19 - 18 of 50

The selling continues and still there doesn't seem to be a bottom in sight.

All a bit disappointing. Not much to say really. I'm sure the politicians will sort it all out eventually. In the meantime markets hate the uncertainty.

CC - 17 Dec 2018 14:57 - 19 of 50

Well the FTSE isn't down 100 yet today so it must be a good day compared with recent times

skinny - 17 Dec 2018 15:43 - 20 of 50

🤐

kimoldfield - 18 Dec 2018 07:24 - 21 of 50

Good morning. Off we go again.

FTSE struggling but I have a good felling about today

Claret Dragon - 18 Dec 2018 08:32 - 23 of 50

Morning. Felling is the correct term for the chopping down of the FTSE

Stan - 18 Dec 2018 08:58 - 24 of 50

Morning all...very good that CD -):

Claret Dragon - 18 Dec 2018 09:17 - 25 of 50

DOW
The Dow has just fallen over 1000 points in 48 Hours
If the Dow –(7.80%) and S&P (-7.6%) stay at these levels it will be the worst December performance since 1931 during the great depression.

Stan - 18 Dec 2018 09:25 - 26 of 50

Oh dear..possibly oh double dear🤒

skinny - 18 Dec 2018 09:34 - 27 of 50

Good Morning.

The Papers

THE DOW futures are currently +100.

CC - 18 Dec 2018 16:48 - 29 of 50

FTSE only down 60 or so today (and down another 20 or so since the close)

Not good.

FTSE now down 1100pts this year or 14%. Our politicians don't seem bothered about the damage they are doing to the economy

skinny - 19 Dec 2018 07:01 - 30 of 50

Good Morning.

CC - 20 Dec 2018 07:56 - 39 of 50

Signs of distress in the Alternative Finance Market? Is Peer to Peer lending a bubble about to burst?

I suspect many private investors have been attracted to this area by the high interest rates but how safe are loans
