Some you win ......... and some you win (WIN)

ainsoph - 09 Apr 2003 23:07

It's always interesting to hear what the bits and pieces from advfn have to say ..... and then do the research

I started posting on here maybe two months ago - I have started a total of 32 threads - including one or two general or non share trading threads. This leaves 28 shares I bought and talked about.

21 of the 28 made trading profits of between 10% and 210% if you took them at the right time. 2 others made 7.5%

14 are still in profit

A 10K investment on each (day thread started) would still be showing a profit of around 16665 -assuming you never cashed any profits along the way

By cashing profits along the way - especially on the trading shares you would have substantially increased this situation.

I have not included the multiple profits made on shares like BAY etc and I have assumed the worse situation on shares like Tads.

The moral is - when peeps say something - check it out - they may have a hidden agenda. I make no claims for my skills but resent some idiot coming along and making claims about my trading that just don't stand up to any real scrutiny

ainsoph (Keith): I should avoid being provocative if I were you. This is a very self-indulgent thread to start and, frankly, I hope that MoneyAM remove it.

Why don't you stick to promoting the cause of the stocks you invest in?

Fugitive - 10 Apr 2003 07:09 - 4 of 63

roflmao! ainsey, you are a real trader, an example to us novice and terrible investors, a true professional trader! You use L2!!!!! Need I say more?? ainsey, keep your wonderful posts coming!

ainsoph - 10 Apr 2003 07:35 - 5 of 63

There are many posts and threads that moneyam should remove - Every single one of the Fugitive's as a for instance ...... there is nothing wrong with the truth MightyMicro and see no reason why moneyam should indulge you - just because you don't like people winning on the long side :-))

I've had a word with Trisha. She wonders if you can be at the BBC studios by 8:30 tomorrow morning, Ainsley. She says she'll pull the interview with the 3-legged lesbian from Basildon so that she can get you on air.

ainsoph - 10 Apr 2003 09:27 - 8 of 63

Whilst appreciating your offer to stand down hilary - thanks but no thanks

Always wondered about you :-))

Bored Being Banned - 10 Apr 2003 10:26 - 13 of 63

so.

Now we have a thread about her other threads...

What's the point of this?..apart from more second-rate ainsoph PR on a 'lower' board on a lightly-used site...

You've not aspired to much ains, considering you self-proported guru-trader image...and it's odd that only you have this opinion of yourself..

lol..anyway...enough of baiting the crazies, i've got work to do you know..

Regards to the sane.

PS DD lol

snappy - 11 Apr 2003 11:51 - 16 of 63

Yep some you win and some you win but it doesn't look like Tadpole is going to be one of those 'big' winners does it?

shagnasty - 11 Apr 2003 11:57 - 17 of 63

`some you lose and some you lose`, has a more vibrant ring to it.

ainsoph - 11 Apr 2003 12:06 - 18 of 63

the reason I play with dozens of shares at a time is to avoid the idea that one share will bring me down - see my comments on units etc on the tads thread

gravy - 11 Apr 2003 12:14 - 19 of 63

The main point is you WONT tell the threads when you lose ainsoph !!!

You are a liar and always will be a liar !!!

You are even denying losing your rag at the Tad AGM when your friends
posted you did :-))

Going back to units for a minute, a `unit` of 20,000 was mentioned, and figures from a quarter `unit`up to the optimum one unit, are used, but also way above this, may be used.
This then assumes a really good share must be worth four units , so we deal any where between 5,000 to 80,000 per deal, in increments of 5,000 , sounds like bollox to me.

ainsoph - 11 Apr 2003 12:42 - 25 of 63

sounds like bollox to me as well Neo - both u and the talk of 20K

gravy - there's a saying about sticks and stones - you may recall .... I am sure you feel really really brave saying that from the safety of a bb name and a hotmail email address ..... I think bollox is Neo's favourite word and seems very very appropiate

shagnasty - 11 Apr 2003 12:55 - 26 of 63

no, 20k was your unit, and your bollox, not mine, see your thread.

ainsoph - 11 Apr 2003 13:00 - 27 of 63

for gods sake wake yourself up neo

ainsoph - 10 Apr'03 - 10:28 - 1836 of 1988 edit

hmmmmmmm ....

Clarvis - A unit is just a fixed sum of money and is used by traders like myself to keep control of our investments/trading. It doesn't really matter how much it is .... clearly it will vary on your total funds available to invest.

Some one like old ollie will use a as a unit and maybe someone like myself will use 10K. The important thing is the number of units invested. Normally it will be between a quarter and say 4 with 1 clearly being the norm.

shagnasty - 11 Apr 2003 13:33 - 28 of 63

LOL the fastest edit fingers in the west, it first said 20k, but never mind take his figure of 10k.
That gives a trading "unit spread"(might as well make up pseudo phrases too),
of between a quarter unit ,2,500, and four units, 40,000.
So when ainsoph tells you he is dealing, the deal may be worth

2500,( a quarter unit), 5000,7500,10000( a unit), 12500,15000,17500,20000, 22500,25000,
27500,30000,32500,35000,37500,40000 ( four units)

Can you believe this?
No me neither because its bollox.

ainsoph - 11 Apr 2003 13:43 - 29 of 63

Suggest you read the posts in future instead of guessing ..... as for the rest of your post - its crap rather than bollox

IanT(MoneyAM) - 11 Apr 2003 13:44 - 30 of 63

Gentlemen,

Could we all calm down and try to be little more mature and civil to one another?

Thanks
Ian

shagnasty - 11 Apr 2003 13:46 - 31 of 63

yes its absolute crap all right, thanks for admitting that.
lol, units everyone uses them, and it`s exactly what you said, well barring one frantic edit. How many units of TAD per punt then ainsy?

ainsoph - 15 Apr'03 - 11:23 - 47 of 49

you are the most average peep I am aware of ....

Sounds like a child talking doesnt it?!
come to think of it a 'unit' conjures up connotations of stickle bricks, is that what your allowed to play with nowdays, watch it, they can be dangerous!

ainsoph - 16 Apr 2003 22:45 - 55 of 63

Just had a quick look at the update for the week .... looking even better - 14 are still up and a 10K stake on each would now be showing a 24947 profit at current closing prices .... as last time I do not include trading profits already taken

ains

gravy - 17 Apr 2003 00:44 - 56 of 63

And a 10k stake each in the "42" shares you claim to hold from when
you first started ramping them on bulletin boards will be losing
somewhere in the region of 350,000.

Great that despite nearly all your shares losing 90%+ in the last taxable
year you are still making fortunes.

Nothing ever changes and that is why you are talking to yourself on so
many threads on this new site, nobody believes a word you say and you have
a appalling reputation on advfn, in fact you are laughed at my many :-))

You will kill this site before it is started.

Gravy

ainsoph - 17 Apr 2003 07:36 - 57 of 63

jesus wepped ....... I don't even know what shares I held when I first started posting on bb's and neither will you .... perhaps you would care to list them here and we can soon see if you know anything at all .....

As for you laughing at my success .... maybe that's the reason you have friends like ollie and snappy and Neo ..... and no money.

maybe you should cut back on the anti-ainsoph posts a tad and reclaim a life of some kind lol ..... seems a little odd that you and your'friends' spend so much time talking about me on all the bb's on a 24x7 basis.

gravy - 17 Apr 2003 08:56 - 58 of 63

Maybe you would like to update the "magic13" or how about
the "abyss13" from advfn :-))

Truth is you start numerous new threads on new sites starting
a portfolio with the same old shares with the pretence of being
honest and updating it regularly but each time as it loses money
you stopped updating it, maybe it's time for the "moneyam13" portfolio
on here ainsoph :-))

Lie your way out of that !!!

Gravy

ainsoph - 17 Apr 2003 08:59 - 59 of 63

which new sites? ...... let us in on where they are?

shagnasty - 17 Apr 2003 09:09 - 60 of 63

Q.
Why would someone holding 42 shares, boasting that it must be boring only holding one share, spend a minimum 10 hours a day posting on ,er, only one share, and the remaining two hours on a couple of others

hmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

shagnasty - 17 Apr 2003 09:16 - 61 of 63

ps
I book my professional time out at 75 /hr.on the few times I bother taking consultancy work, so the full time ramping job , if I indulged, like Sadman, would need to return 4500 a week every week, so he`s made 16665
in 8 weeks?
Nah, not worth the effort Sadman

ainsoph - 17 Apr 2003 09:18 - 62 of 63

I suggest you read the posts before commenting on them shaggie - I actually quoted the minimum profit as 25K without the trading profits ....

As for you having to work ..... surprise surprise

I have a gardening job going that may help you out for a while

shagnasty - 17 Apr 2003 09:30 - 63 of 63

Sadman, you get sadder by the day, we know that garrets don`t have gardens, silly billie.Oh this isn`t your rubbish then, must be KDC`s, do try to remember your posts ,must be hard with 18 differnt aliases. Its the one at the top of the thread.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
A 10K investment on each (day thread started) would still be showing a profit of around 16665 -assuming you never cashed any profits along the way
^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Such a pittance for a 60 hour week old boy, back to the park weekends I gues
