This thread is for those peeps like myself who may be foolish enough to want to trade a few shares around the edges of our main investment holdings.
It will save cluttering up the other thread(s)with intraday chatter that only has relevance for a few minutes - hours or maybe days.
I highly recommend you don't trade them - as the spreads are wide - there is no dividend and the company is almost like a start up tech with the big spend on R+D behind it and hopefully a bright future ahead but high risk.
As we start our journey - Tads is risk grade is 510 and Fridays Closing prices were 5.5p/6.5p NMS is 100K but occasionally as low as 10K on the web based broker sites - there are 6 mm's and EVO is the House Broker. The shares are very liquid and there are around 200 million of them - average daily volume around 1,580,000 and 79 million have been traded this calendar year so far.
Many of us believe the shares are being professionally shorted and would expect the shorters to close in the near future. There are no significant Institutional holders and around 18000 shareholders.

Price when we started 6p mid - high of 7.25 (25/02) - currently 5p mid (13/05) - risk grade 534 - my current trades @ average 4p - lowest buy @ 3.4p(now closed) - recents buy last Tuesday @ 4.35p and wednesday @ 4.41p
I emphasise this thread is really for Tads traders rather than onlookers - I note that Snow White and her seven dwarves complete with their fairy godmother have started wasting their time and ours by posting their advfn crap

mm's are 1.1 and both the bid and offer are slipping a little - volumes are half the daily average with less than an hour to go .... no sign of gem yet

Think they'll make it by 4.30 though ains.
Which will mean only 9 days to go.

Yes .... your probably right but as we have said before - they don't have to short them every day .... I doubt they will get much of a price today

Interesting situation .... the 300k was probably gem and at a good price but the house broker wasn't keen on selling any .... another mm was more accomodating providing it was for less than 50K ...... will be looking to add a few more in the morning

They have finally done something positive - after nearly a year. I expect sp to shoot up to 60p within the next few months (assuming a consolidation of 30:1).

LONDON (SHARECAST) - Software specialist Total Systems tracked a higher path today after the group said it would make a small profit this year against the loss expected.
Total, which supplies software systems to the financial services industry, said it enjoyed a better than expected fourth quarter.
The company is pleased to announce that the final quarter of the financial year finished strongly and, subject to audit, turnover for the year will be approximately 500,000 greater than market expectations, said Total.
Following the strong end to the year Total added that it would now be reporting a profit before tax for the year instead of the small loss previously anticipated by the market.
Meanwhile Tadpole Technology was the best performing TechMARK stock today racing up more than 20% despite a lack of news from the group.
In May Tadpole got a helping hand after one of its customers, Softbank BB Corporation, finally paid its $1.2m bill after months of delay though the shares then slipped to an all time low before todays rebound.
