Seems to have closed in US with only a 5.6% rise in spite of a volume 325.7% times the average.
I can find no news since the announcement of the completion of the Fab Lab, not on Tracy Island (Thanks Jumpin) but at Caswell (UK) on 11th September.

However there is a lot of work going on in Canada & the US to improve & install high speed telecomms systems. Bookham's Nortel subsidiary should be in a prime position to win some of the contracts.
Ther are links to some of this work in my post on the BVC thread.

Hi Jules,
Don't expect this stock to double atm. Fwiw, I calculate intrinsic value circa 175p. They have a good business model and good management. So, certainly not one to ignore in my book.

I've read an article a few weeks ago stating that the support level could be aroung 90p. I should have sold out a while ago when it was at 1.70.
Good luck all

Bookham is now 85p - fallen far beyond the 100p support which I've thought. I think there will be bad news in its first quarter figures announced next week on the 5th of May,2004. Profits will be down as expected as sales is meandering. Its price has fallen from 180p in mid January.
