bke - the dough is rising (BKE)

may - 31 Dec 2003 12:01

Having entered bke for the Moneyam 2004 share tip contest
a few days early, it has risen ever since so unless the Competition
rules are changed to give the date of entry to the competition as the base price for the share winning, my entry has had it.
But another 42.9% increase today is extraordinary for what is
normally a dull share.

cz4802 - 31 Dec 2003 12:22 - 2 of 91

Why has it risen? Does anybody know?

moneyman - 30 Jul 2005 00:37 - 3 of 91

If you look at this stock it has just been given 400K which basically equates to the present market cap. This means the stock is therefore free ! Results are due anytime and if prove posiitive then the SP could react very positively !

Is it worth buying now ?

may - 01 Aug 2005 09:27 - 4 of 91

I added a few at 0.30p just now and small sp
tick up then made huge spread seem only a v. large one!

may - 01 Aug 2005 19:26 - 5 of 91

77%+ up by the close .
0.40 mid sp would now give some actual profit.
I resisted the tempation to take the quick profit though.

may - 02 Aug 2005 13:24 - 6 of 91

Took profit just now

Quitting while going is good and leaving
something for the next investor cannot be bad.

The sp volatility today worried me; up c. 34% one
minute down to c.6% the next. Yesterday's 77% sp
gain was fast but one way.

moneyman - 02 Aug 2005 18:36 - 7 of 91

Looks to me like the MMs are trying to get some stock and were not ready for Mondays trading hence the rise. This could rise very quickly from here. Worth buying a few hundred K and with results around the corner we could all be a little richer.

moneyman - 04 Aug 2005 21:29 - 8 of 91

Looks like this wants to continue to rise.

moneyman - 23 Aug 2005 23:45 - 9 of 91

Another run on BKE. Good buying today and my bet is more to come. Trades delayed by 1 hour so don't miss the rise.

moneyman - 08 Sep 2005 08:55 - 10 of 91

Some good buying recently. looks good for another jump higher.

moneyman - 08 Sep 2005 08:55 - 11 of 91

Some good buying recently. looks good for another jump higher.

moneyman - 08 Sep 2005 09:00 - 12 of 91

Looks set for another rise after the recent strong buying.

moneyman - 09 Jan 2006 11:32 - 13 of 91

Starting to look cheap at this price.

moneyman - 12 Jan 2006 22:11 - 14 of 91

Still no interest then eh ?

AdieH - 18 Jan 2006 10:52 - 15 of 91

I am looking after a tip on ample, don't like the spread though, how long have you
been in...

moneyman - 22 Jan 2006 15:28 - 16 of 91

Not in at present bugger keeps going higher though. May have a few tomorrow.

moneyman - 23 Jan 2006 22:33 - 17 of 91

Interesting RNS today ! Why would someone be taking a large stake in this company ?

AdieH - 25 Jan 2006 12:07 - 18 of 91

I am in , small holding, and as you say moneyman, interesting that a PI has a large stake, something up....

AdieH - 06 Jul 2007 12:54 - 19 of 91

Any views on the rise today? Quite small volume but nice percentage rise, still don't like the spread though, what are peoples thoughts? Regards.

cynic - 06 Jul 2007 12:56 - 20 of 91

as i posted elsewhere ......
this is just a silly little company with cap of only 0.5m .... it follows that if anyone sneezes with a (cash)measly 200k shares, sp will rocket or plunge

AdieH - 06 Jul 2007 12:59 - 21 of 91

Yes cynic but i'm asking if anyone else has any views on the future of this company, does it have a future, there has been a PI that has been investing, what is his/her agenda? Why are people buying, just canvasing opinion as i'm inquisitive... Regards.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 13:02 - 22 of 91

AdieH

More sells than buys and the SP rises...there could be something going on in the background as we have suggested before.

AdieH - 06 Jul 2007 13:09 - 23 of 91

Yes a friend of mine mentioned something was going on and he had bumped into one of the directors, he obviously didn't get anything from that but he has been monitoring this closely (must give him a call)... I don't personally like the spread but it is now on my radar...

cynic - 06 Jul 2007 13:11 - 24 of 91

see RNS .... someone, PI or institutional, now holds 7.08%

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 13:12 - 25 of 91

AdieH

Our resident muppet would like to "bump" into a director as well...LOL.

AdieH - 06 Jul 2007 13:16 - 26 of 91

Ssssssshhhhh we don't want to disturb him from his slumber... See how its working on COH if we squelch him he will get bored as we cannot see his responses so he ends up talking to himself (first sign of madness). Will let you know if my contact comes up with something over the weekend regarding BKE... Regards.

Ultimate Cynic - 06 Jul 2007 16:10 - 27 of 91

WOT'S GOIN ON??????
.4 BID! WOTEVER NEXT????
(only hold 200 worth @ 0.19)
UC.

AdieH - 06 Jul 2007 16:27 - 28 of 91

Something has to be up but if no news it will fall back... will monitor closely, be tempted to sell UC...

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 17:01 - 29 of 91

Highest it's been for 2 years...

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 17:47 - 30 of 91

The last trade was at premium and bodes well for next week

David10B - 06 Jul 2007 18:28 - 31 of 91

Be careful here.

BKE has nothing to offer.

VERY POOR MANAGEMENT WHO HAVE BEEN CONTENT TO SLUMBER ON FOR YEARS TAKING A REGULAR 40K PER ANNUM OUT OF SHAREHOLDER'S FUNDS FOR DOING NOTHING.

WORTHINGTON DUMP HIS LOT OF BKE SHARES YEARS AGO. NOW IT COULD BE THAT AS HE HAS FAILED TO MAKE MONEY WITH COH AND DUMPED A LOAD OF SHARES THERE TOO HE MAY BE CONSIDERING A COMEBACK TO THE UK.

WHATEVER IS HAPPENING AT BKE IT COULD BE TOO LATE AS CFE IS MAKING ITS MARK----BUT THEY COULD BE PLANNING SOMETHING----WHATEVER IS UP YOU CAN BET YOUR LIFE IT WILL INVOLVE A FURTHER CASH CALL ON THE POOR SHAREHOLDERS WHO ARE ALWAYS IN THE DARK UNTIL THEY ARE NEEDED TO COUGH UP.

IF YOU WANT A HIGH RISK GAMBLE WITH A BOARD THAT IS AT LEAST MOTIVATED, AND WITH WITH PROVEN PRODUCTS AND A PROVEN MARKET TO WORK IN---

TAKE A LOOK AT THE ONLY DOG SHARE I HAVE, LNX---THE FUTURE LOOKS GOOD, AND I WILL BE ABLE TO REPORT FIRST HAND INFO IN THE NOT TOO DISTANT FUTURE.

SURE THEY HAVE HAD THEIR PROBLEMS BUT THEY HAVE NOT SLEPT THROUGH THEM DRAWING A FAT WAGE PACKET WHISLT DOING SO AND FOR DOING NOTHING.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 18:28 - 32 of 91

.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 18:32 - 33 of 91

AH

It was only a matter of time...LOL.

We all know he lost a packet on these and blames RW.

David10B - 06 Jul 2007 19:51 - 34 of 91

You obvious have to think what you have to think in your limited way.

However the fact remains that whatever BKE does, and this being a public BB I can comment freely, although its accepted you would prefer that I did not, BKE would need cash and it will have to come to the market to get it.

Now the last cash call BKE had shareholder's funds seem to have gone to pay dorectors for doing nothing.

I have never owned BKE. who could be so daft? If you think otherwise, put your money where you mouth is....and lets have the prove of the pudding instead of your rather pathetic diatribe.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 20:10 - 35 of 91

Now why would you be worried about a little tiddler like BKE...is it because you are worried about newbies losing their shirt and therefore you being an honest and upright citizen think that would be a wicked thing to happen or are you really a sad old loser who lost a packet on BKE and after all this time just cannot accept it.

David10B - 06 Jul 2007 20:13 - 36 of 91

THINK WHATEVER YOU MAY WISH TO. BUT THE FACT REMAINS THAT IF BKE IS TO DO ANYTHING ------------IT WILL HAVE TO COME TO THE MARKET FIRST.

ie more dilution!

And of course Mr Worthington is quite good at that.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 20:19 - 37 of 91

Nobody is worried about that...you silly old chap.

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 20:30 - 38 of 91

Something is driving this up...could find out next week.

cynic - 06 Jul 2007 20:33 - 39 of 91

yeast (hot air) .... then, as with dough, it gets knocked down

David10B - 06 Jul 2007 21:05 - 40 of 91

Your not worried about future cash calls when considering an investment?

You must have more money than common sense or be plain loopy

David10B - 10 Jul 2007 10:16 - 41 of 91

The unwarrented ramping of the absolute "bog shae" by some here should be formally investigated.

BKE as no substance whatsoever and will only rise on the speculation that rampers plant upon the unwise novice investor who think that a peny share is cheap because its just pennies.

As you can see BKE which is only capped out around 500000 is now in decline.

So how in all honesty could people like Beemer claim it was going to rise this week?

Some people myself included feel that such rampings are a deliberate and fraudulent act

cynic - 10 Jul 2007 15:20 - 42 of 91

my post 39 says it all

AdieH - 10 Jul 2007 16:07 - 43 of 91

As is deramping without foundation...

David10B - 10 Jul 2007 16:10 - 44 of 91

Is telling it the way it is deramping?

A pound within a year is in my book as there is no hope of that.

Not as long as Numis churns out notes like the last one.

Nice to see that you are still fascinated by me AdieH and cant keep away.

AdieH - 10 Jul 2007 16:23 - 45 of 91

I will try to highlight to other posters that you post misleading information and have your own agenda... and you have certain issues with Richard Worthington...I will contact RW nearer the AGM and see if we can get a special invite but I doubt you would turn up my friend... I if I still hold will most certainly be there LOL...

cynic - 10 Jul 2007 16:40 - 46 of 91

i rarely agree with 10B, and certainly get totally fed up with his incessant and repetitive and verbose postings, but i confess i also think this stock has little to commend it from just simple basics ....

total cap is only 0.77m
spread is near enough 33%

it follows that the smallest buy/sell will have a disproportionate effect on the sp, and God forbid that there should be a general market fallout, and this stock will be unsaleable.

why on earth would anyone in their right mind invest here?

AdieH - 10 Jul 2007 16:44 - 47 of 91

Ok fair enough he has to strike lucky sometime but can you put some meat on the bones...

cynic - 10 Jul 2007 16:45 - 48 of 91

ah .... well i have edited my post since you wrote!

David10B - 10 Jul 2007 16:56 - 49 of 91

AdieH give it a rest you are now a pathetic winger.

Go run to Worthinting run to the world and tell them all from me that I think both BKE and COH are junk companies.

if you want me t put some bones on BKE I will, Right from how lack of motivation lost then te niche market with te COOP.

How Kieth Bently has sat on his arse raking off 40k a year whist the shareholders funds are depleted each week and more and more and more---

Now Hurford-----You started this again not me, now run to Ian first and check if I can defend my position as you could not stay away for long could you----man your sick, obssessed and sick.

And by the way I strike it lucky most of the time.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 10 Jul 2007 17:07 - 50 of 91

Guys,

I specifically requested that you stop this petty squabble and not descend into personal insults. You have simply moved from the thread I targeted onto 2 other ones. I do not care who started this, if I have or see any reports of personal abuse from this point forward from either side on any thread I will remove your access.

I hope I am clear.

Ian

AdieH - 10 Jul 2007 17:11 - 51 of 91

Sorry Ian wont bait him again he's just shown his real colours... Enough from me Regards.

David10B - 10 Jul 2007 17:14 - 52 of 91

IAN its this idiot who follows me as you can clearly see;.

How childish to admitt to baiting a person---why what possible motive can there be for such idiocy.

ptholden - 10 Jul 2007 18:07 - 53 of 91

BKE 10 by the end of the year, you read it here first :))

cynic - 10 Jul 2007 18:20 - 54 of 91

only by consolidating the shares umpteen times!

ptholden - 10 Jul 2007 18:23 - 55 of 91

Cynic, get stuffed, 10 by Xmas then ;)

Ultimate Cynic - 12 Jul 2007 20:07 - 56 of 91

Yup, you're both right.
Don't care AidieH, it's only a bit of fun is this one!
UC.

edit:
I've done it again!!!!!
didn't realise I wasn't looking at the last posts.
The above comments relate to posts 28 & 39.

priceless - 12 Jul 2007 20:15 - 57 of 91

CMGP is better!

Ultimate Cynic - 12 Jul 2007 20:26 - 58 of 91

IanT(MoneyAM), I have squelched offending posts as you suggested and also squelched those that respond to them. Why do you think it is that others can't do the same?
Eveyone else:-
Guys It's simple, just don't rise to the bait! Don't unsquelch, not even once or those that do will just get drawn in to the squabbling again and the offending poster WINS!!!!!
Thats exactly what he wants you to do.
It would be a shame if the good guys like AidieH, cynic etc. get banned and David doesn't. It could happen because as far as I'm aware he doesn't use insults against any posters - just slags off RW. So his game is probably to provoke the rest of you into using insults and get YOU banned. Think about it?
UC.

P.S. I know I've used insults in the past but I don't now.

cynic - 12 Jul 2007 21:33 - 59 of 91

how dare you refer to me as a good guy ..... have you any idea how damaging that will be to my reputution? ...... Ian - this guy should be banned at once before he causes real damage!!!!

Ultimate Cynic - 12 Jul 2007 21:45 - 60 of 91

:-)

David10B - 12 Jul 2007 22:35 - 61 of 91

Look guys if you want to ban me then go ahead and an me, but please give your solid reasons for doing so as there are laws to protect my right to free speech on a public BB.

So what is so offensive to you?.

Is it my total ignorance of the market and how its works?

Well that being the case I am, as I said right from the start, here to learn.

Are all you illustrious opposers of mine, opposed too as well to educating the ignorant? Which I humbly confess to be on most things

Or could there be a more sinister rational?

Could it be that people such as AHIEH and beemmer, angry people at best, are annoyed that I have busted up their comfortable taitatait rampings of COH--the more they ramp the more suckers get drawn in etc etc.

I have exposed COH for what I believe it to be and called it right dead right and now there is obviously more to come as its still a loss making company which appears to me to be runing around in circles and paying propbably over the odds for Snack Attack, a complete chain of outlets Worthigton could have bought for a song not that long ago.

I was a member here for years before I posted---thats right years, I just read the posts and picked up what I could, an yes made some little money out of the market.

We all have our different ways of doing things, I happen to follow WB principles.

I dont agree with TA, as I do not agree with crystal balls, and witchcraft, I believe in solid fundamentals and these tell you to go on past performance and solid accounts. ie concret laying.

I dont believe that you can forecast share performance as there are so many imponderables moving in on the equations daily if not hourly.

Although that said I appreciate the work cyinic and PTH put into thier craft.

Since forecasting the COH drop its got very personal---to me I dont mind as infantiles usual cry when they toys are taken away, as do bullies when they cant get their own way.

No problem for me, none what so ever.

I now see that beemer says COH has a dossiers on me, mmmhhh reminds me of the good old days of the Cold War.

Yes I am highly critical of Richard Worthington, and yes I think things are not as they should be at COH---but I say so here and out in the open.

You see I have nothing to hide and I would now very much like to see the COH dossier on me, if in fact there is one.

Under the Freedon of Information Act I am entitle to see any files etc,etc

But let me make it easy all round, for if Mr Worhtigton has been telling his sychopants tales out of school, which beemer sems to imply, then that to is further misconduct for a CEO.

So my message is cklear to Mr Worthingtom and co, if indeed as your shareholder beemer claims you have a dossier on me for simply publicly opposiing your COH and BKE business methods, then why not do as I do and publish what you have here, right here, ! right now, today and lets clear the air!

You can rest assured of two things, with the recent events in COH leave more questions unanswerd than answered and I will keep seeking the truth.

Furthermore if you are man enough to publish this alledged dossier that your appear to happy to informMr beemer that you have, may I respectfully suggest that kindly ensure that when you put it here its all cortect and true as there are some very stringent libel laws.

And more importantly, if as you claim you know me then obviously you will be aware that I have just won two libel cases, and settle one in my favour out of court, and very lucrative ideed they were! People only "thinking" they knew what they were talking about as opposed to knowing.

You see fans what ever and when ever I will always seek out and go for the truth over everything else.

Like what some of you say here I am COH bashing or WNG bashing---that not quite so///there is nothing in it for me.

I just happen to feel that financial BBs are not all about a vested interests ramping of owned shares.

Financial BBs should be about educating and enlightening, freely, honestly and openly.

I was party to the WIGGINS debacle I dont want to see that again in any shape of form.

I am so crital f the FSA they should have prosicted Tom Winnifirth for the Oliver Inny interviews which gave by chance of design, I really do know, the sentiments that things were right with Wiggins. They were not Wiggins went bust taking shareholders fund with it many life saving went to the wall.

Also your tax monies went in the form of EU grants that Wiggins directors, falsely in my opinion cliamed from the EU RDFs.

I made severel protestations to the various EU departments and MEPs involved in giving WIGGINS you loot, and not one did a darned thing, they were happy to lose the grant money which went to the wall with WIGGINS, as of course the tax payers were paying.

HOWEVER WHEN WE STOP LOOK FOR "FAIR PLAY" WE MAY AS WELL JUST STOP!

If you want to ban me then ban me(stating why) if not I will be back tomorrow looking for more answers on the COH/Snack Attack tie up---opps no not tomorow got a lunch meeting with with a finance director of one of my companies that I invest in.

But over the weekend.

Have a really good night and I trust you all sleep as soundly as I.

beemer2 - 12 Jul 2007 22:41 - 62 of 91

IAN...PLEASE BAN HIM.

David10B - 12 Jul 2007 23:22 - 63 of 91

BeeMer time no to stop this pointless childish silly chatter, he said, I said ,you said they said, etc
its davidbrookthomas@yahoo.co.uk

should feel feel strong enough to contact me for a meeting in my lawyers office in Manchester where you can freely peruse the civil case documents and the out of court settlement.

Put all three together and its an impressive sum.

Its money where your mouth is time beemer old chap

I await your respones.

AdieH - 13 Jul 2007 12:18 - 64 of 91

One sad person that has to confess his life story on a bulletin board... Still didn't answer my question of are you married? As your telling us about the rest of your life how about answering that question, i'm intrigued...

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 14:32 - 71 of 91

Good afternoon Gentlemen.

beemer2 I see still ever rude arrognat and abrasive----and very very wrong--

beemer2 - 06 Jul 2007 16:06 - 1662 of 1807
BKE continues to rise...SP now 50%+ up.

COH will continue to rise.

Its this type if unfounded nonsensical ramping that should be banned, not only from here but from all financial BBs.

This is only a "SELF INTEREST" post by beemer2 with little or no concern for other investors, many of whom may be totally green,

beemer2 - 13 Jul 2007 14:36 - 72 of 91

You are totally brown and full of it...

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 14:36 - 73 of 91

Hello potatohead,

I think thats what ADIEh WANTS FROM ME---

AdieH - 13 Jul 2007 14:51 - 74 of 91

If I ever met you I think you would find out David... Now you are squelched forever but maybe at the next AGM we will meet and you can put your point of view to me in person...

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 14:53 - 75 of 91

Which one AdieH?

beemer2 - 13 Jul 2007 14:58 - 76 of 91

AH

Don't forget he is elderly...you might frighten him to death.

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 20:28 - 77 of 91

Oh yes I will be very old next year at least a year older than now, but how does that help you with your crusade to save COH and BKE.

You when I think of Mr bentley doing nothing there for years just drawing 40k I feel something is not quite right.

beemer2 - 13 Jul 2007 21:03 - 78 of 91

Both will rise significantly in the very near future...IMVHO.

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 21:04 - 79 of 91

Based on what please?

Certainly not nett profits.

Ultimate Cynic - 13 Jul 2007 21:17 - 80 of 91

Thank God for that AdieH. Now let's see if you can keep to your word?
It only works providing you can resist the temptation to peek at one of his posts.
UC.

David10B - 13 Jul 2007 21:19 - 81 of 91

He wont he will be back he cant keep away from me, its an obssession with him

"The original Mr Cool"...were you an icecream salesman or possibly an eskimo.

AdieH - 13 Jul 2007 21:57 - 83 of 91

I wont dont worry UC this pric. really has ruined the COH thread and any other he posts on. As I say lets hope he turns up at the next COH AGM and maybe I can convey my appreciate for his ruining the COH thread... I will make sure I am wearing an arsenal top so he will know who I am... Regards.

David10B - 14 Jul 2007 09:02 - 85 of 91

Good moring all, what a lovely day, maybe set for a really nice weekend.

There now I told you AdieH would be back, he secretly is fasinated by it all.

Now Adied remember name calling is a sign of weakness please keep you cool and calm.

AdieH pleae tell us why you think this thread has been ruined, I would welocme your views please?

You see Adieh there are some others who think its been enlightened by my postings and that they have taken a second look at COH and walked with their feet.

I have a number of emails thanking me for opening their eys to the true sitaution on COH and in fact that its not quite the surefiredsafe investment Ahieh and his cohorts seemed to imply that it was.

As far as I am concerned if I saved some guys some money --the job's a good 'un.

As I said with COH let the SP do the talking---and it is.

Oh yes Adieh no need for bovver boy tops I have no doubt you will stand out all on your own--your type always manages to do so.

Try chilling out its only a share and they go up as well as down.

If it stays fine I think I may even chance the Goldie over the moors--most relaxing

AdieH - 14 Jul 2007 11:09 - 86 of 91

Maybe we should create a David10b thread... bit like big brother and we can post our thoughts on there, what are peoples feelings on this idea? We could post our positive and negative thoughts... I only suggest as David doesn't look like he's going to be banned and then we can condense our thoughts on that thread without clogging up the others... IanT do you think this is a good idea?

Ultimate Cynic - 14 Jul 2007 20:30 - 87 of 91

NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!
Best to just forget about him, let his memory recede into the distance.........................
UC.

David10B - 14 Jul 2007 20:45 - 88 of 91

Dont worry UC, my memory and I are good mates, it does not want to recede into anyone's distance.

Its still in fine order and recalls a few posters saying something about wanting COH at 1

You too AdieH, seeing as your fellow COHer beemer2 has gone to ground in the face of straight talking----place your reasons why you should want me banned from this site.

Try to be as honest and open, as you are intimidating, then we may all get somewhere in making these BBs a good source of informative reference and no hidding place for rampers.

Have a really nice day.
