CHELFORD- Great potential for 2004 at just 2p... (CHR)

jules99 - 19 Jan 2004 08:37

Now that Im back going through my mail, I just came across Chelford Group, could be a gem in disguise, dont let the name fool you, may not sound dramatic, but worth doing research on...Could be their year 2004!

jules99 - 19 Jan 2004 10:34 - 2 of 36

The way Chelford has moved, it could surpass all expectations -10p ???

jules99 - 20 Jan 2004 00:14 - 3 of 36

THE COMPANY

CHELFORD CHR:
Build mid-market supply chain solutions Business for specific vertical markets through acquisitions and organic growth.

The company is Expected to report profit of around 0.8m on around turnover of 10.3Million for Dec 31st.

Cash in bank stands at 650,000.

Word of caution is there is a very thin market and the share can move on little Trading volume.

For a penny share as low as 2p the potential for rise from current levels is excellent.

Recovery in the Chelford's strategy appears in tact now and we are seeing investors coming back in, All time high has been 6p, once it surpasses the 6P, we are in new territory.

If the Chelford's share price were to rise to even 10-20p in 2004, thats way more than what any FTSE250 stock is going to return to me this year.

Realistically Yes, Chelford - It's a risk like any other penny stock, but I sense and think the return/risk ratio is worth it, besides most of the shares I trade are risky but the returns have always been well and truely worth the excitment...moreover I think this is the right to buy, i.e Before Joe Investor decides to get in.

My opinions and always wise to do ones research as always..Have a good nite all...

Good Night all...Jules99.

jules99 - 20 Jan 2004 15:02 - 4 of 36

Some good news Chelford Price just gone weak now, as I write 2.1p to buy, good opportunity to get in below 2.5p I reckon..

TRADING STATEMENT RECENT - Very positive 2004 indeed!

Chelford Group PLC
12 January 2004

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE 12 January 2004

Chelford Group plc

PERIOD-END TRADING UPDATE

Chelford Group plc ('Chelford'), the IT supply chain software and services
company, today provides an update on its performance for the year to 31 December
2003.

Chelford has made good progress in 2003, achieving a significant improvement
over the preceding year. The market has remained challenging throughout the year
but is now expected to move forward more strongly in 2004.

The SSI Division has been profitable for the whole year and Chelford SAP
Solutions achieved profitability in the second half of 2003. As a result,
Chelford will have achieved a profit before tax and goodwill amortisation for
2003 as a whole. Moreover, cash flow in the second half was positive and
Chelford has ended the year with net cash of 1.35 million (2002 : 1.07
million).

2004 has started well, with order intake during the closing weeks of 2003 strong
within both the SSI and SAP Solutions divisions. Contracted orders already
account for some 70% of Chelford's operating costs for the coming year.

Trevor Lewis, Chelford's Chief Executive, stated :

'After a challenging 2003, our marketplace appears to be stabilising and the
time needed to convert potential orders into signed contracts is becoming
noticeably shorter. An improved order pipeline within both the SSI and SAP
divisions together with the strong order intake in recent weeks gives us
increased confidence for our 2004 financial year.'

Chelford expects to announce its results for the year to 31 December 2003 in
mid-March 2004.

jules99 - 03 Feb 2004 03:41 - 9 of 36

With SAP licensing sales up Globally this year exceeding Expectations, this is following a very positive outlook SAP statement just recently this year.

On this news alone Chelford Group, this small growing organisation is set to gain massive, the share still stands at just 2p!!!, giving the opportunity to small investors like myself a great and worthwhile investment IMHO. I do hold and expect to do so until they become Adult hood..

The consensus by Brokers this month is HOLD as more gains are to follow, so good news if you hold already!

FULL YEAR RESULTS - EARLY/MID MARCH so not long to go now...holders in for a real treat if expectations for future are surpassed!!!

jules99 - 03 Feb 2004 13:45 - 10 of 36

A rise on the BUY side kicking in again, needs to break 2.4p/2.7p mark, for further gains...could well do it, if the buyers start to pour in again..

jules99 - 04 Feb 2004 09:18 - 11 of 36

still waitin for it to break past current levels to new heights towards and past 2.4p/2.7p touching 3p would be exciting stuff..

patience required holders..though it could happen very easily as we know..

roma - 04 Feb 2004 09:57 - 12 of 36

Buyers coming in this morning,up again.

jules99 - 04 Feb 2004 11:11 - 13 of 36

moving up!!!!

svsvsvsv - 05 Feb 2004 12:08 - 14 of 36

It look's as though the MM's are just as excited as we are. MM's are keen to keep the ASK price on an upwards trend whilst moving the bid up and down to encourage buyers and sellers. The spread is also large - intended to off put those wishing to sell thus maintaining the upward trend in slow ticks. ALL in all I think CHR will produce results positive for the MM's and the small shareholder.

KEEP WATCHING AND BE PATIENT. THE BEST THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT !!!!

jules99 - 05 Feb 2004 14:05 - 15 of 36

RESULTS IN 4 WEEKS ....MM's need much stock as possible as results are going to surprise...thats when the real fun will begin.

Watch this space...Im glad I came across this one now!

Baughfell - 05 Feb 2004 22:37 - 16 of 36

I too have high hopes for CHR. Big transaction went through at close which is probably profit taking.

A Break through 2.25 should be very interesting.

kantona - 06 Feb 2004 14:17 - 17 of 36

have topped up further .. with the current positive sentiment these will certainly rise over the coming weeks leading up to the results which we know are going to be good.

Baughfell - 06 Feb 2004 17:02 - 18 of 36

A very positive last few hours, I even managed to top up before the rise.

With some positive press in one of the "Sundays" - next week could be a good one.

Anyone know the date the results will be out?

jules99 - 09 Feb 2004 06:42 - 19 of 36

Could see Fridays rise continue this morning and into the week, or it may be that they were tipped this weekend?? if anyone knows please copy n paste any info, thanks..

The results are in 3 weeks roughly, and they're going to be very bullish indeed...SAP licence sales is one key reason...

Can see Chelford Group going up well before the results, may reach towards breaking 3p today, one never knows the demand when joe blogga catches on, that results are due soon...

bets on hitting 3p this morning...I'll hold my kneck out...have a nice day all...

Investors considering Chelford should read the annual report, obtainable free via F.T.(Wilink). This excellent report, coupled with Strong Buy recommendation from brokers Arbuthnot and directors' share buys, persuaded me to climb aboard.
The next A.R. should appear in March and if it builds upon the current one, we are in for an exciting run. Maybe leakage ahead of publication is driving the share price. Meanwhile, Chelford has just appeared on the radar at Trendwatch.http://CHR

jules99 - 09 Feb 2004 08:18 - 21 of 36

buyers are coming in 3 buys gone through now...!

1 x 250,000...Not bad..for a chelford..

jules99 - 09 Feb 2004 09:24 - 22 of 36

Bouncing up now....little doubt now, should hit new high of 3p today...
now 2.25p - 2.6p...if it hits 2.7p, then 3p look a very good bet for today...

last trade a 200k buy gone through, all buys so far this am..

:-))))

roma - 09 Feb 2004 11:13 - 23 of 36

Going up like a rocket today, now over 21% up.

jules99 - 09 Feb 2004 13:32 - 24 of 36

resting again a little, hit 2.91p i think, should easily hit 3p at next surge upwards...

2.35p - 2.7p spread as I write but that could change in a sec as we saw...looking on target overall...

question is where will price stand be in 4 weeks time after results:-))))))))

jules99 - 10 Feb 2004 07:50 - 25 of 36

big day ahead...at level where break out could determine new direction...

2.7p+ second attempt to break away..towards 3p...

jules99 - 10 Feb 2004 10:38 - 26 of 36

on the rise 2.4p -2.85p!!!

3p could be hit...

jules99 - 10 Feb 2004 15:37 - 27 of 36

oops some profiteering on the way...hopefully just a blip..

roma - 10 Feb 2004 16:03 - 28 of 36

After the rises lately, It had to happen Jules. We have all done it, sometimes to kick ourselves later. Still more buys than sales.

kantona - 13 Feb 2004 06:26 - 29 of 36

is it good time to top up on these now that we are edging closer to the results. views welcome

jules99 - 13 Feb 2004 14:43 - 30 of 36

time to jump in I think good level of weakness acheived i think now...

results soon so mm's are stocking up on selling this week..

confident here on results as ever..

:-)

kantona - 13 Feb 2004 19:23 - 31 of 36

jules ...the price movement today supports what ur saying ... the mm's dropped it steadily from 2.3 - 2.6 to slowly around 2.05 - 2.15 ..then just before the close the price the spreads went back to what they were at the start of the day ..before closing at 2.1 -2.5 ..clearly no pattern just mm's treeshaking ..least i hope !

jules99 - 16 Feb 2004 08:26 - 32 of 36

Results date now getting closer Kantona...should see the action happening again, on the rise this am...

jules99 - 16 Feb 2004 08:54 - 33 of 36

reults in 3 weeks according to tech invest mag, Chelford is apparently one of their tips of the year, of course dp ur own researcg forst folks...

thanks jules99...

roma - 16 Feb 2004 13:54 - 34 of 36
