Woodie you seem to be keen on this co - what's with the =8.July04 Director Buy -followed by a Sell (net loss 200) - did some drunk make him buy shares by holding a gun to his head, etc?
regards

WOODIE - 13 Aug 2004 15:35 - 4 of 54

no my guess is he did not that you are unable to deal in close period results released 22 july. just cant understand share price fall.profits going up albeit not as quick as i would like.share price indicates bad news on the way just cant see it myself just after figs.cheers woodie

WOODIE - 18 Nov 2004 07:01 - 5 of 54

cant find reason for rise last 2 days does anyone have any news? cheers woodie

legend290782 - 19 Nov 2004 12:10 - 6 of 54

woodie, i picked some of these up at 8.5p....25k a gift at that price. Don't forget that the directors bought a lot at 11p not long after the results when the price took a hammering. The traders/mms may see this 11p as a benchmark price to trade from. Perhaps the directors might be planning to take it private, who knows??

Either way the way i see it is... directors buying shares at 11p... company generating 1m cash in 6 months... looks like a good company to be in and still undervalued at this current price.

Hope this helps.

WOODIE - 19 Nov 2004 13:30 - 7 of 54

legend you could be right as directors deals ie peter ward 500000 shares did not get issued to stock market via rns.still cant find why price went up over last week.thanks for input cheers woodie

legend290782 - 19 Nov 2004 13:52 - 8 of 54

its ok... one of my best friends is an auto electrician and says that it is a good company. It does quite well out of the alarms it makes, but its main money making business is audio equipment.

I see you have been posting on here a bit. I think it will go up from this level. It is always a good sign to see directors buying shares when they can.

My broker spoke to the trader and i think he had enquiries for big orders... perhaps a reason why... plenty of volume going through.

WOODIE - 19 Nov 2004 14:42 - 9 of 54

legend got worried profit has gone down as i broght last year at 3p up tp 25p down to 10p long term looks good.cheers woodie

legend290782 - 20 Nov 2004 10:21 - 10 of 54

Yes, I am very happy to be in these too, I wouldn't have thought I would lose any money at the price I bought. I don't have that many to lose sleep over (25k shares approx). You would think (and hope) that the directors are the people that know the true and fairest value of their company, and that when they buy shares, they expect to get a good return from the price they buy at. So if I can get the shares some 30% cheaper than them, looks quite a good investment to me. As for you woodie, well you got them at a gift...even though they have been up and down since. You are very right to keep hold. There is no reason why these shouldn't be 15p again soon.

It would be good to keep this bb on toa alive. Even people wanting in and out can make a return here I feel.

tallsiii - 23 Nov 2004 13:52 - 11 of 54

I am soon going to be buying some of these, currently trading at 10p. They seem to have an extremely low PE for a growth company. It's forecast at 3.8 for this year and 3.3 for next. There aren't many companies with a PE that low at the moment. Not many that stand a chance of surviving anyway!

WOODIE - 23 Nov 2004 17:53 - 12 of 54

be careful a mild profit warning about the mature buisness was issued in oct,as yet we do not know what impact it will have on full year figs.as the chairman brought 500000 shares soon after was he trying to get shares on the cheap? cheers woodie

WOODIE - 30 Dec 2004 13:31 - 13 of 54

has anyone know why the rise over last 2 days with above average vol?cheers woodie

hangon - 08 Feb 2005 17:44 - 23 of 54

well again at a low and the marketing director of 11 years resigns. It really doesn't look good. Moving to AIM - blow me I thought they were already, such performance should never be on the full market list......whatever next?
I see they plan to buy more of some company - looks like the seller knows a thing or two.
This company is a huge loss (& for me) and will continue to be, unless it can show some v-v-voom. Perhaps the MD's son could take over Marketing, after school.
Does anyone have an inside track on these people?

WOODIE - 09 Feb 2005 06:30 - 24 of 54

hangon share price will not do much until results in march as there was a mild profit warning last year.cheers woodie

legend290782 - 13 Feb 2005 09:28 - 25 of 54

Hi Hangon,

I picked up some of these at 8.5p after the big drop... at the same time the directors were buying loads at 11p. I am happy to hold for the time being.

I know an auto-electrician that uses toad products and he thinks there is nothing to worry about as does my broker. I would be surprised to lose money on this stock.

Woodie, sorry I haven't posted the tip from city confidential, will try and do it asap - I have been snowed under at work.

Thats good, everything should be in line as far as i can see.

Keep smiling

hangon - 15 Apr 2005 10:33 - 31 of 54

You guys seem pretty happy - the sp is at an all-time low and I read (in Shares?) that Toad is dependent upon hands-free telephone products - hardly a product which will continue year-on-year....and forget any Barriers to Entry.
The company has slipped onto AIM where it can fester as a penny shares for a little longer, but this looks like a classic failure of Management to generate any Profits.
Oh I do hope they are well-rewarded. I recall their car-park had some nice motors in it (at agm)....so expect some performance-related bonuses to be pre-paid, HUH. We thought Rover was bad!

legend290782 - 15 Apr 2005 13:27 - 32 of 54

lol, I am still optimistic... i think that we will be ok in these!! as always time will tell!!

These look interesting and theres certainly momentum on their side. AGM looks ok and Directors bought a lot as a % of the total market cap. Dipped in this morning for my first tranche. I also see Paul Scott and some of his followers over on the Motley Fool have gone in for these.

cheers GF.

goldfinger - 23 May 2005 13:59 - 35 of 54

legend290782 - 23 May 2005 14:19 - 36 of 54

Totally agree, these are dirt cheap gf... have held these since 8.5p ages ago and didnt sell at 14p a few months ago...

I added at 11p just before results and they have just gone down since. A must imo

goldfinger - 24 May 2005 00:39 - 37 of 54

Yup Legend I think we have a winner here.

Seymour Pierce are forecasting 1.8m profit in 2005, and 1.93m in 2006, for 1.9p EPS & 2.1p EPS respectively.
That puts the shares on a bargain PER of 5.4 dropping to 4.9
So if those forecasts are achieved, then these shares look certain to recover from the doldrums.

cheers GF.

FINALLY I AM GLAD SOMEONE HAS SOME SENSE TO SEE HOW CHEAP THESE ARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOODIE - 24 May 2005 11:34 - 39 of 54

welcome on board gf are you still holding ciu? if newspaper stories are true a deal with a high strret chain looks like the next piece of news to hit the market.cheers woodie

goldfinger - 24 May 2005 11:39 - 40 of 54

Hi Woodie, yes still holding a few CIU. Made a super profit this morning from Merchant Retail. Just keep a lot of good stock on the back burner and sooner or later they will pay out for you, patience being the key. Not gambling like 50% of the market.

cheers GF.

Toad as the exclusive UK distribution rights to this product. It really could help the company move into a very profitable future.

I'm glad the board has come alive again... These should trade upwards from here.

Rumours on another board about a major high street retailer contract win for toad or tg21 - i assume tg is toad group and 21 refers to 21st century.

Good luck all
