As some of you know Master RSI has a nice thread where stocks can be tipped and all can subsequently follow. We have nothing here that I have seen so i thought it a good idea to maybe start a new thread especially for that purpose.
I do not envisage managing it such as the UPS thread but leave it an open forum where people can tip stocks which they think has potential and the reasons why.
Good Luck fellow investors ;-)

I'll start things off for next week.
Now I like the looks of these;
FAR is sitting at a very low point in it's history. They are in the surviellence/CCTV arena so their product is well sought after at present. The last figures pointed to many contracts being won.
SPD just had Directors buying in with cash from their own pockets. A recent marketing deal with Man Utd has set these off strongly but a large sell saw them drop. Now rising back up.
As can be seen from the chart both of these stocks are in a rising trend and should continue to do so. The great thing about these type of small caps is that they are generally not affected by the wider market. So as the FTSE declines we can see these type of stocks gaining investors interest.

This thread could be a ramping heaven. Lets not go down that road. I personally am going to stay loyal to CFA Capital this is still by far the most likely growth story around at the moment. Results round the corner

I notice that the bid price of reversus has risen just a bit today. Does anyone know why? There does not seem to have been any buying.

SPD - SP Holdings
Play.com and The Sun get together for DVD giveaway
Mona Lisa: one of the titles on offer
Joe Lepper, Brand Republic 08:00 24-08-2004
LONDON Home entertainment website Play.com and The Sun are giving away classic movies on DVD in a deal thought to be the largest newspaper promotion of an online brand.
British gangster movies 'The Long Good Friday' and 'Mona Lisa' are being given away this week with Wim Wenders' cult classic 'Paris Texas'.
To claim their free DVD, Sun readers are directed to a special page on the Play.com site, where they will be asked to key in a password printed in the newspaper.
The deal has been developed by SP Partnerships, the promotions and partnership arm of SP Holdings.
Chris Reed, the managing director of SP Partnerships, said: "This is a fantastic example of how old and new brands can work together to target young consumers."

My nap selections are- HNR, OIL, PCI, SIA, VOG and SHEL. As a portfolio it will outperform the market by a very substantial margin and make you very wealthy into the bargain. This is not intended as a ramp.

I think BP is a much better bet than SHEL long term. Untill SHEL sorts out it's out of date boardroom I think it will continue to suffer from the crabs and only move sideways. It's only saving grace is the dividend.

HYG at 11p, WCRX at 620p, RBS at 1550p, BT.A 183p, CWV at 7pence.
The penny stocks comprise a property play and an IT services company, both with an emerging growth story. Worth checking out.
WCRX is an exciting FTSE 250 speciality pharma growth stock. Huge market in female healthcare in the USA. Earnings momentum excellent and cashflow excellent.
RBS, not a lot needed to say here, quality, growing dividend, earnings, and management of the highest quality.
BT, more of utility yield play, but with some growth potential in Broadband and mobile services.
Commodities are a bit toppy at the moment so I'm unsure about oil or gold - just my opinion.

Take a look at NLR. It floated at 200p and fell back but has now produced excellent figures and explosive growth present and future. What a damp squib nobody took any notice so it slowly crept back over its float price until today---it has suddenly taken off, At last!! Yet still no press comment or Analyst recommends--are they thick or something? perhaps someone can see something I am missing if so please pass it on. I hold 1200 shares and hope to build on my holding. cheers MP
