charts a mega one!

bigbobjoylove - 20 Dec 2004 09:28 - 9 of 39

lookin very strong today, times thinks theres an easy 40% upside from here....which is nice.

bigbobjoylove - 21 Dec 2004 11:48 - 10 of 39

and again,yumyum.

capa - 21 Dec 2004 16:07 - 11 of 39

Thats 2.00 busted bigbob, cracking share this one.

capa

bigbobjoylove - 22 Dec 2004 08:33 - 12 of 39

its crackin cos its cheap, suddenly its been highlighted, single digit pe,no debt and about 7 mill in bank!!

capa - 22 Dec 2004 08:59 - 13 of 39

Not sure about single digit p/e bigbob. I am reckoning on eps of 17p at next results, they may well do more but if they achieve 21p that would be stunning.

Still at a discount to the sector though despite having the best growth, should be 3.00 imo.

capa

bigbobjoylove - 22 Dec 2004 09:00 - 14 of 39

a few on advfn reckon they'll do eps of 20p+.

capa - 22 Dec 2004 09:05 - 15 of 39

well if they do, I'm upping my target price to 4.00 :-)

capa

bigbobjoylove - 22 Dec 2004 09:14 - 16 of 39

have a look at CFG capa seen as u like my kind o stocks.Know somebody in the company, chairman is a legend on the market for creating shareholder value(2 of his previous co's were taken over) He's highlighted this as his most exciting,i've about 15000 in this one.

capa - 22 Dec 2004 09:40 - 17 of 39

cheers bigbob. I'll have a look.

capa

capa - 31 Dec 2004 11:03 - 18 of 39

Got a few CFG bigbob, a friend of mine owns a nursing home and does very well out of it.

thanks a lot for pointing me in their direction.

capa

bigbobjoylove - 05 Jan 2005 15:46 - 19 of 39

looks like this is turning into the gem we always knew it was, just me and u in this capa it seems.

capa - 05 Jan 2005 16:22 - 20 of 39

It certainly appears that we are alone on this one bigbob.

Not exciting enough for the masses who prefer the rollercoaster to the carousel. 65% gain in 5 months with no heart stopping moments on the way, I hate these boring shares :-)

capa

bigbobjoylove - 06 Jan 2005 16:09 - 21 of 39

TIS THE SECTOR 2 B IN,LOOK AT HVN AS WELL,STORMIN ON UP.

capa - 06 Jan 2005 16:21 - 22 of 39

Wouldn't argue with you, I am tempted to have a piece of Hatpin who put out a trading statement about this time last year.

Still think NRG are the pick of the crop

capa

capa - 06 Jan 2005 16:32 - 23 of 39

sneaky rise at the end :-)

capa

capa - 07 Jan 2005 08:43 - 24 of 39

MPI with good 4th quarter trading update.

All looking very good for this sector

capa

capa - 07 Jan 2005 14:10 - 25 of 39

2p a day til results will do me

capa

capa - 27 Jan 2005 11:58 - 26 of 39

These results are going to be sooo good :-)

capa

capa - 28 Jan 2005 11:52 - 27 of 39

Its going to be a long weekend waiting for Monday

Still about Bigbob ?

capa

bigbobjoylove - 28 Jan 2005 11:59 - 28 of 39

yep,top sliced a few though for HYC as its lookin cheaper, also a few in HVN.

capa - 28 Jan 2005 12:07 - 29 of 39

HYC now that is a share I wish I'd got into a while ago :-(

All the best

capa

bigbobjoylove - 28 Jan 2005 12:19 - 30 of 39

HYC i top up every pull back capa, check out their website, loads of contract wins all the time, tis a boomin sector.Chart is fantastic.

brain2brain - 03 Feb 2005 17:48 - 31 of 39

Anyone any ideas why this one is pulling back a little. Its long term trend looks really promising. Is this just a breather or is the trend changing?

Cheers

capa - 03 Feb 2005 18:22 - 32 of 39

I think you will find that it is the norm now to sell on results day and NRG has been no different to a few other stocks I hold where this has happened.

A little patience and the price will rise again I reckon.

Results were good and eps of 17p should be comfortably achieved by the year end, strip out the cash and this is the lowest rated company in the sector by a country mile

Still holding

cheers

brain2brain - 03 Feb 2005 22:49 - 34 of 39

Many thanks for that capa. The graph does look very good. Even this slight pull back has not yet broken the trend. Fingers crossed but I am in this one hopefully for the longer term

Cheers

capa - 04 Feb 2005 08:47 - 35 of 39

On its way back today it would appear.

capa

brain2brain - 06 Apr 2005 10:54 - 36 of 39

This one continues to surprise me. Its been drifting lower for a few months but today has jumped 4%. Does anyone have any info about what is happening.

Cheers

brain2brain - 06 Apr 2005 11:43 - 37 of 39

I've just had a longer look at the graphs. Over the longer term (2years) this still looks to be on an uptrend. In fact this time last year it did exactly the same thing, moved slightly down and a lot to the side before beginning its next journey north.
I see it is now up 6%. Lets hope this is the beginnings of that journey.

Cheers

capa - 06 Apr 2005 11:57 - 38 of 39

There was a trading statement at the end of April last year and Michael Page have put out a positive statement today, which may have concentrated some minds on the sector, of which NRG are the cheapest.

capa

brain2brain - 06 Apr 2005 12:05 - 39 of 39

Thanks Capa. Fingers crossed for a return to form.
