I see that my pop up stopper has to be disabled in order to see level 2!

The reason I have it is because using the net without it was becoming unbearable, and I recently used a computer without a pop up stopper and gave up because there were so many pop ups it was ridiculous.

Is there any way the pop up stopper can de disabled just for the level 2, and not the whole PC please?

Gausie - 05 Jan 2006 11:26 - 3 of 39

XP allows you to disable it for particular sites.

Otherwise - i think control-click allows a popup.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 05 Jan 2006 11:26 - 4 of 39

Andy,

It depends on which pop up blocker you are using - it may be that if you request the pop up as you are doing with Level 2 it will allow it. Certain pop up blockers can be configured to accept pop ups from individual site, but as I say this all depends on which one you are using.

iant,

I use Adaware, but don't want want to muck it up as the web without a pop up stopper is unusable now IMO.

Thanks.

Kayak - 05 Jan 2006 18:05 - 6 of 39

Andy, you can use the direct link until MoneyAM get round to fixing the obvious bug :-)

MightyMicro - 05 Jan 2006 18:59 - 7 of 39

Firefox can allow pop-ups from selected sites. Opera (now free) has a "Block unwanted pop-ups" feature which works very well.

Both of these work just fine with MoneyAM and Level 2.

Andy - 05 Jan 2006 21:14 - 8 of 39

MM,

Ok thanks, i use both, but mostly Firefox.

Sadly I missed it today, I now have to work for the next three or four weeks, so no chance to try it.

Kingeric - 06 Jan 2006 08:29 - 9 of 39

Signed up for the trial, but I cant access non streaming stockwatch now? says my subscription needs to be updated?

Please can you fix it!

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Jan 2006 08:34 - 10 of 39

Love the terminal feature.

So alltogether for monitor/L2/terminal is that 42.50+ Vat ?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 06 Jan 2006 14:06 - 12 of 39

ravey,

Yep 32.50 for Level 2 10 for Terminal making a grand total of the vey reasonable 42.50 + Vat

Ian

DocProc - 06 Jan 2006 15:03 - 13 of 39

It's the VAT that kills it, Ian!

:-)

How much for a swapper deal - or maybe even some actual notes? Nudge, nudge, wink, wink. Say no more. Go on! You know it makes sense.

I'll tell you what. Let's call it a straight 250 in cash for the whole lot for the whole year. Or I'll swap you a whole pile of some Hello magazines instead.

I don't mind logging in and logging out a few times either. In fact as much as you like really.

Here's a freeby PDF writer for you, too:

superrod - 06 Jan 2006 23:04 - 14 of 39

thanks MAM....made 130 today on a 5k stake.....L2 sure beats watching a monitor and hoping the market goes your way. once ive paid that leech gordon brown i will deffo be buying L2.

rjd123 - 07 Jan 2006 11:16 - 15 of 39

DocPro

If they (Moneyam) did L2 & the monitor for 250 a year I would certainly take up the offer, one day perhaps!

Gausie - 07 Jan 2006 11:21 - 16 of 39

oi super - thought I'd convinced you that u cant trade without L2 4 years ago!

katcenka - 07 Jan 2006 14:37 - 17 of 39

if level 2 was a fiver I would go for it, but not 32 quid, buys and sells never appear in the correct columns either..

Gausie - 07 Jan 2006 16:07 - 18 of 39

Kat - save your money - it wouldnt be of any use to you. A basic understanding of how the market works is required to get any benefit from L2.

Iain - 07 Jan 2006 16:24 - 19 of 39

Mickinvest - 07 Jan 2006 23:10 - 23 of 39

Personally I would grab the moment and e-mail all the level 2 users who pay monthly with an offer of shares magazine for 68 seeing they will be feeling flush with the saving.

KEAYDIAN - 08 Jan 2006 01:26 - 24 of 39

But would magazine arrive?

superrod - 08 Jan 2006 08:47 - 25 of 39

Gausie
you DID convince me......however, i wasnt trading anywhere near as often as i am now, so it seemed like a luxury.

atb to you for the new year

Promotional code, newyear, not accepted.

Any help anyone?

Many thanks in advance.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Jan 2006 07:31 - 29 of 39

daedalus,

The code has now expired, however as a one off I have added the weeks trial to your account - you will need to log out and back in.

Ian

DocProc - 13 Jan 2006 09:30 - 30 of 39

Same here:

I entered the promotional code "newyear" but get a message telling me it's not accepted.

It's still the 13th January. Did this promotion expire on the 12th or is it me?

Help please - and thanks in advance.

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Jan 2006 09:33 - 31 of 39

Doc,

I will upgrade your account manually, the promotion expired at midnight. I will change this in the header so that it shows correctly - apologies for the misunderstanding,

Ian

DocProc - 13 Jan 2006 09:38 - 32 of 39

Thanks, Ian.

Much appreciated.

Perhaps the finer qualities and experiences of alphabetti spaghetti are wasted on the likes of us two, eh?

jthiley - 13 Jan 2006 09:40 - 33 of 39

IanT(MoneyAM) - 13 Jan 2006 09:41 - 34 of 39

Ian

jthiley - 13 Jan 2006 09:47 - 35 of 39

ian... thanks for your help. L2 working fine

daedalus - 13 Jan 2006 10:51 - 36 of 39

IanT,

Many thanks for your help, L2 working well.

thorhildur - 13 Jan 2006 17:53 - 37 of 39

Did you change the expiry date? - since the last time i looked it said expiry on the 16th Jan - just registered today so that I can have a look at level2 for stockmarket for the whole of next week and find it has closed? Was it me or have you closed this early??
Would appreciate any help as would have been very interested in a trial since I have never used it and have always wanted to see how it works.
Thanks in advance

navster27 - 15 Jan 2006 22:50 - 38 of 39

Yes it did say 16th Jan. So the expiry date has changed :-( looks like I have also lost out on a weeks free trial, was looking forward to using it as I have this coming week off.

thorhildur - 16 Jan 2006 08:29 - 39 of 39

Anyone from Money AM care to comment? Since personally feel it is bad practise to amend the advertised dates once they have been offered through a web-offer. Comments appreciated - only because I was looking forward to testing the level2 system for teh first time this week. :(
