Traders Thread Friday 2nd July 2004 (CROC)

Martini - 01 Jul 2004 21:45

bcavanag - 02 Jul 2004 09:02 - 10 of 33

Need help!!
Having been on croc's Trading Day some months back I was starting to use his Analyser software to identify trending stocks. Without that I am back to guessing and just got killed in CTM.
Anyone prepared to offer ideas, tools, methods for initial stock picking.

Thanks, Brian

Morning all, had a look round, decided to go out for the day.

Thinning a few things back at present to limit any major downside. Might be a waste of time, effort and cash, but better safe than sorry. I've learnt the hard way before.

;-)

Who needs Day Trading?

Become a Month Trader!

Highs and lows have less effect on you.

Now is the time to consider buying cheap stocks like Barclays.

Become a Year Trader and buy Supermarket Stocks they may recover by then.

Become a Decade Trader and buy Oil Stocks. Only 20 years from then to go before the candles goes out!

There may never be a better opportunity to buy cheap, but do your own research etc.

sw ;-))

Very good.

seawallwalker - 02 Jul 2004 14:14 - 16 of 33

The night before last I had a horrible nightmare.

I was in a Hospital reception, you know the sort, post war variety, with a telephonist in a brick dome stuck to the side of the main building.

The lights were on, and Aliens, who no one had seen, were coming down the dual carriageway.

A Police Convoy drove past escorting................ nothing.

The light was failing outside and I knew I had to turn the lights off, of which there were many. All the lights had switches in the ceiling, and every time I turned one off, I went to another and the last would turn on again.

I had to get them out or the Aliens would see us.

I went to the next and turned it off, and the next and turned that off, as I got to the next I again saw the lights going on again behind me, then I saw a pull cord and someone said "That will turn them all off", I reached up and..............

woke up.

Did they get us or not?

Well I thought as it was quiet, I would share that! Do you know I dozed off again, and started the dream all over again.

Big Al - 02 Jul 2004 14:22 - 17 of 33

sw - want the name of a good doctor? ;-))

seawallwalker - 02 Jul 2004 14:27 - 18 of 33

Who?

stockbunny - 02 Jul 2004 14:39 - 19 of 33

The dream appears to suggest you seek to take control of something and
are trying to do so, but are being hampered by something/someone who's
beyond your control, either deliberately or circumstantially.
Any assistance or advise from others is vague and somewhat unhelpful, although
you do listen to them as you wish to sort matters out. The key may be to step
back and leave the job of getting things back under control to someone else,
most likely they are responsible for the matter anyway, either as much or
more then you yourself are, but this would (it appears) run contray to your nature and therefore would be difficult to do, as ultimately you tend to take responsibility and not pass it over to others....
(Its ok - no charge SeaWalker - as I'm not working today)

seawallwalker - 02 Jul 2004 14:41 - 20 of 33
