IDD and 5.5 billion ID card market...discuss (IDD)

The uk Government under estimtated the cost of Id cards...If IDD could even secure 1 or 2% of this market (at worst) then its big money in coming years...never mind chip and pin/loyalty cards etc etc...

could be some substanial upside here over the coming months......

LONDON (AFX) - The government has admitted that the cost of introducing identity cards will be almost double its original estimate of 3 bln stg, the Financial Times reported.

The Home Office now estimates that the introduction of identity cards will cost 5.5 bln usd to get running over 10 years, the financial broadsheet said.
