WTV WebCasting Services (WTV)

apple - 28 Oct 2004 13:05

This used to be called VTB.

They have fallen from about 3p since June & they reached 7p a year ago.

The share seems to be showing signs of life.

I've put a small amount in again as a big gamble.

This goes aginst what I usually do because it is an AIM share with a big spread but it's only a small amount just for fun.

Thanks Global Nomad for airing your views. I took a look at the WTV website this evening and noticed they have put up a list of dates for results and said they will make a trading statement on 23rd Feb.

I also see the are going to do a pre recorded webcast with results. Thats good news as well.

At least we do not have to guess at dates that they might or might not update investors. I like businesses that have consideration for private investors and give a regular flow of news on thier websites as do WTV.

I only hope it comes good for me in the long term and you guys/girls get your money back and make a profit with luck, as I see they were down again today.

Its turned out to be a real dog for me, so let us hope the trading statement that I see from the wtv website is does on 23rd changes the picture. It would be nice to see some T traders start buying this in the coming week as well.

Global Nomad - 13 Feb 2006 08:05 - 107 of 145

one can at this stage only hope......

moneyman - 17 Feb 2006 11:07 - 108 of 145

Just started to move higher today.

skyhigh - 17 Feb 2006 11:42 - 109 of 145

why's that ? and how long wil it last for ?...anyone know ?
(usually falls back after a little tick up)

moneyman - 17 Feb 2006 17:32 - 110 of 145

Didn't today. Maybe the seller has finished.

BIZPACK - 28 Feb 2006 20:17 - 111 of 145

I see the trading statement did nothing for this dog that I got myself into.

I was please to see the CEO buying new shares for 1p which is above the present market price.

I think it will come good in time. I have noticed the bigger trades of late and they seem to be buys.

skyhigh, you were correct I see.

I am tempted to sell a few others to switch into this and average down. Any views.

skyhigh - 01 Mar 2006 14:22 - 112 of 145

As this is rock bottom already... I'm staying in for the long term... for better for worse (in other words, I've no idea whats going to happen)

BIZPACK - 18 Mar 2006 14:19 - 113 of 145

Skyhigh it looks to me that a big increase in volume has taken place over the past few weeks. In the past, I have noticed that this sort of pattern happens a few weeks before news of contracts or stake building.

I would not now be surprised to see a quick return to the level that I bought in at last year. I have looked at trade history and seen the much larger slices changing hands, several million trades, buys at that.

In view that one of the directors purchased new shares @ 1p, I think they must be very undervalued at this time.

Brewins are also saying this was a buy at 0.97p and now they are saying its a very strong buy, adding to the information (contract news)from the company website, all the news looks positive.

I can now see this becoming a 2p share before very long and maybe 4p by the end of the year. I am happy to hold even though they have fallen since I last made a purchase.

I only hope that they start to inform the stock market of any new contracts as they sign them, so to attract more investor awareness.

BIZPACK - 20 Mar 2006 12:08 - 114 of 145

Has anybody noticed the big movement this morning.

At last, its going upwards.

skyhigh - 20 Mar 2006 12:14 - 115 of 145

usually falls back after a little tick up.... let's see if it's different this time... got a feeling it might be !

BIZPACK - 20 Mar 2006 14:13 - 116 of 145

Skyhigh, In view of the sudden increase in volumes and the size of the trades, it seems to me as though there was a seller that has finished selling, while at the same time the buyer that has been picking up blocks of 250k - 1 million is still building a stake.

We have yet to hear of any new 3% stakes but it could be coming soon.

Fred1new - 20 Mar 2006 15:10 - 117 of 145

As far as I can see the shareprice is following the trend line DOWN.
The increasing volume appears on the sell side.

I think I would need a lie down if I bought this one!!!!

BIZPACK - 29 Mar 2006 13:04 - 118 of 145

Fred1new, it would seem skyhigh was correct again, still I live in hope. Maybe its just investors closing out thier losses for the year.

With luck, the company will announce improving sales and contract wins. It could be that they are holding onto news until the end of April, along with the figures on the 27th. I`ll hold for now and add if they come out with any good news using a little cash I have made in recent weeks.

Fred1new - 29 Mar 2006 13:20 - 119 of 145

Why buy or sell against the trend???

There are far better possibilities in the market.
