You beat PM1 to it. Statistically he should have had it

stockdog - 25 Sep 2005 21:25 - 10015 of 27111

Andy - I never thought taking a profit was equivalent to being a de-ramper.
Driver - no need to be so oversensitive
Bosley - I used to be a 30 almonds a day man, now I'm just nuts- sweet or what?
Paul - are you the bent-double old man with the holes in your overcoat that hangs around Camden tube, picking up butts?
SD - mind your own business

PM,

Not to poo poo your cigarette filter idea.

Stanelco themselves are marketing themselves as a green company and while the filters you mention would be a great idea I remain unconvinced that SEO would want any connection to one of the worlds biggest killers, smoking. Yeah, Greenseal saves xxxx in energy but we want you all to smoke our new tipped fags! Unsure of that one to be honest!

Brandname/Oily Hi,

I think Biotec would be able to use the ASTM standard as a selling point for the TPS, and not just in the USA but globally, as the ASTM standards are worldwide.

I know Starpol 2000 isn't going to be stopped by this legislation, but it would look good on Stanelco to get it prior to launch.

Cheers,
PM

Stockdog, Paul is a 23 year old programmer. (my ProfilePro sofware tells me, it may be wrong).

QC Hi,

Indeed, you could be right, butt(lol !) what would the IP be worth to a cigarette manufacturer as a one off purchase ?

Also Biotec could still manufacture the plastic to make the filters, and the cigarette manufacturer or their supplier would use it to make the filters ...

Cheers,
PM

seo will then take care of all your biodegradable needs from the cradle to the grave. when you're born seo will provide bio-d nappies, as you get older seo will provide bio-d big mac cartons, as the stresses of life kick in and you turn to ciggies seo will provide bio-d fillters, and when you die........bio-d coffins!!!! fantastic!!!! we're rich i tell ya'.....rich!!! hallelujah!!

driver - 25 Sep 2005 21:56 - 10023 of 27111

bosley - 26 Sep 2005 08:37 - 10027 of 27111

morning all. very quiet today.

hewittalan6 - 26 Sep 2005 08:43 - 10028 of 27111

Morning bos. If you think this is quiet you should be in on PCM where 1.20 worth of shares was bought earlier and 1.10 worth has just been sold. What a cut-throat, crazy, big business world that is in.
Alan

bosley - 26 Sep 2005 08:49 - 10029 of 27111

wow!! big money changing hands!!!

hewittalan6 - 26 Sep 2005 08:54 - 10030 of 27111

Now, now bos. You may think that is small fry, but it is large proportion of the value of a company I am invested in. I am seriosely thinking of making a bid for the entire issued share capital and taking it private, if anyone can change this 20 note for me!!
IMHO though, I fancy PCM as a multi bagger for the not too distant, but that is for another thread.

bosley - 26 Sep 2005 09:49 - 10031 of 27111

alan, driver says so too. unfortunately i have a major problem with pcm from the good old tech boom days. i bought at 16p. still holding, waiting.........

driver - 26 Sep 2005 09:56 - 10032 of 27111

Al, stop ramping PCM, have you had a look at ERT (Postman Pat) to you.

greekman - 26 Sep 2005 10:02 - 10033 of 27111

The agreement with Elwood Packaging Inc is initially for 18 months but is dependent upon Elwood achieving and maintaining certain levels of sales, Stanelco said.
Perhaps the same type of deal should have been done with ASDA.

Could it be that the ASDA deal is going slower re conversions etc than expected hence SEO may have learned a lesson. Still a great beleiver re the ASDA deal but looking at the early part of 2006. Similar comment may have been previously posted but just returned from hols so catching up.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing.
