MELDEX. Double your money- quicktime. (MDX)

kitosdad - 12 Dec 2007 16:20

The engines have fired up at last for MDX. ( BPRG ) At long last they are being recognised for the force they will become over the next two years. On the cusp of disclosing huge revenue-earning deals with Global pharmacists. These have been hinted at as being unrolled before the years end, but may be in the next days. You still have time to get in at a bargain-basement price before the SP takes off for real shortly.

It is desperately important, and so far I am failing, to get this across, - so please forgive me for repeating it on the key threads. Many investors and the board itself are,I think missing the point.

We know the board don't want to go back to NASDAQ, nor if they were persuaded are they confident enough people to do a U-turn. Too bad that you all think that there is no chance of it happening. I agree it will be difficult to remove the mind block, but it is impossible to deny the share marketing fact ......,..the share price is always at a resultant balancing point for Supply and Demand.

The group has already sold 200 million shares into the UK market which is less than 10% of the N American. But the UK capacity to absorb MDX shares now seems to be saturated. Too many placings and payments for acquisitions with paper, and no lock-ins.. Every day the shorters mockingly demonstrate that they have a larger purse. The surplus needs mopping up.

In the circumstance it would be obviously easier to sell 20 million shares to a new swathe of investors in America than to hope to increase demand for them in the UK - and unless demand increases the price is stuck or vulnerable to further falls. Without news of commercial progress demand cannot increase.

Selling 20 million out of the LSE pool would bring the availability back into balance with UK demand. I have done enough 'research' comparing the volume of trading out-of-balance with the ensuing change in capitalisation to know that there is an exploitable relationship. You can do it yourself from the daily list of trades. The ratio for Meldex lies around 20-30 times. That tells us that 20 million out of the LSE into N America makes a 200 million difference to the capitalisation. The cost is peanuts compared with the capital gain, and can even be self funded by the ever present opportunity to create a virtuous circle.

The board could both have this cake and eat it.

There is only one remedy for this oversaturation of the UK market with MDX paper. That is to increase demand with persistently good news of commercial progress OR to find new investors. You all agree that there are few left here, and that there are ten times as many in America. So what are people waiting for to accept the need for this remedy?
