i would say that they have settled, and we should hear shortly the amount, the new guy is clearing the decks.

bosley - 27 Sep 2005 12:30 - 10085 of 27111

ssanebs, yours is an opinion i respect, but

"The new management
team has taken steps to settle legal proceedings where possible but not in
situations where the asset base of the Company has been impinged upon"

still says they wont settle with seo. the ip is one of their few assets.

You need to learn how to read results mate, the Bioprogress figures were excellent; cashburn reduced by 80% whilst the business improved. We'll now break into profit in the first half of next year on the FMC deal alone, we have 9 million in the bank which is enough for 4 years without any revenues. The loss was due to the ineptitude of our now resigned ceo and was predicted by the market.

ps Stop leaving snide messages on the Bioprogress thread without any basis for them, I've always provided reasons for my positions here and expect the same in return.

Nice recovery today, bodes well for the coming days.

Only 4 trading days till interims now, should get a run up to them.

And then a nice run down, what a load of crap this company is!

shamona - 27 Sep 2005 13:30 - 10087 of 27111

Stanelco impinged the asset base of Bioprgress by stealing the patent, how clear do you guys want it; Bioprogress have already won the case in a court of law, why on earth would they walk away now?

Not wanting an argument but come on chaps!

shamona - 27 Sep 2005 13:32 - 10088 of 27111

bosley

"the ip is one of their few assets."

Aye along with a mountain of cash and done deals with multi billion pound majors!

Greyhound - 27 Sep 2005 14:07 - 10089 of 27111

But Bioprogress still heading lower at the moment

KingKonggb - 27 Sep 2005 14:12 - 10090 of 27111

Sham,

Wouldn't expect anything else from a BPRG holder. Obviously both BPRG and SEO want to move on and get this court dispute out the way, and it appears that this IP , as quoted by Bosley, is "one of their few assets".

Kong

bosley - 27 Sep 2005 14:24 - 10091 of 27111

shamona, if , as you say,
"Aye along with a mountain of cash and done deals with multi billion pound majors! "

why has the price fallen from 1.65 to 28p?

bosley - 27 Sep 2005 14:26 - 10092 of 27111

btw, this is an seo thread, although i can appreciate it is quite lonely on the bprg thread at the moment.

shamona - 27 Sep 2005 14:32 - 10093 of 27111

Mr Hind was a conman who couldn't run a business for a profit(other than his own), the new management still have the same deals in place but have now chopped the outgoings to ensure we hit profitability a.s.a.p.

The price peaked at circa 1.60 before slipping but it should be remembered that they floated at 16p only weeks earlier, if you'd been in from the start your money would have near doubled already. Once sentiment returns though those highs will return easily, unlike here they have the done deals.

ps It's not a competition between the companies, you can do as I do and invest in both when it suits; at the moment this is firmly in a downtrend but i'll buy when it breaks it.

bosley - 27 Sep 2005 14:39 - 10094 of 27111

shamona , you are full of shit. last week you got on your high horse because pm1 said something unpleasant about mr. hind , bprg floated months before the high , not weeks, and if they have done the deals, where are the massive profits you speak of? now, if you haven't got anything to say about seo i suggest you fuck off.

ssanebs - 27 Sep 2005 14:50 - 10095 of 27111

anybody who thinks the bprg results are good must be on drugs. they have continuously promised and not delivered.

bosley

my source told me they were already close to settling but pulled at the last minute, and seo are not pushing forward with rf sealing now on capsules they are now moving to click

paulmasterson1 - 27 Sep 2005 14:51 - 10096 of 27111

Bos Hi,

I quite agree, bitter bprg lemons should have given up the lost cause of bashing SEO by now, and got a life .... where possible.

Cheers,
PM

shamona - 27 Sep 2005 14:53 - 10097 of 27111

FMC Magenta commercialises early next year, pharmaceutical formulations take time to get past the authorities mate.

PM1 mocked a dead person who was the Chairman, not Mr Hind who was CEO.

Temper your langauge son and try doing some research before debating with someone of my knowledge and stature, i've embarrassed you on two counts there.

shamona - 27 Sep 2005 14:56 - 10098 of 27111

ssanebs

The market knew about the loss up to June, what they didn't know was cashburn rates and cash in hand; both turned out much better than expected. With 9 million in the bank we won't need to do a Stanelco and beg the shareholders for cash every year.

I suggest some of you actually try researching Bioprogress as I have researched Stanelco, shareholding is not the same as football team supporting you know.

bosley - 27 Sep 2005 15:24 - 10099 of 27111

bprg peaked in march 2004 after floating in may 2003. would you like me to post a graph? tell me again that it was weeks?
pm1's reference was about hind because everybody knew about hind but no-one knew who the chairman of bprg actually was. i just made the same mistake.
so early next year bprg will start making profits?!!! tell me again where the massive profits are you speak of.
you got me on 1 and that's only because i don't give a shit about bprg. but i intensely dislike hypocrytes . maybe someone of your stature should dyor before you lie and ramp.

Stanelco Debuts PulsLine(R) Solution for Tamper-Evident, Anti-Counterfeit Security Labeling

ORLANDO, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 27, 2005--Stanelco PLC (LSE:SEO) introduces PulsLine(R), the latest intelligent, anti-counterfeit label on the market. Designed to protect against fraud and product tampering, PulsLine is currently available in the United States and United Kingdom, and is used to safeguard products in the food, information technology, airline, pharmaceutical and automotive industries as well as many others.

When applied to form a seal, PulsLine provides evidence of tampering which can be detected both visually and electronically, vastly increasing the safety and integrity of a secured product.

Following ten years of research and development by the experts at Aquasol, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Stanelco, PulsLine is the first labeling system of its kind to use a unique patented multi-layer laminate construction. The applications are almost endless and offer protection and security in all retail environments.

Utilizing a security thread derived from the bank note industry, PulsLine identifies products as genuine. For enhanced security, PulsLine is designed to incorporate un-copyable bio-codes, DNA, radio frequency identification tags and holograms. Additionally, the thread can be micro-printed with a company name or logo, which can be revealed by removal of a unique tab pull. Additionally, the security thread has a tactile feel so those who are visually impaired can verify the authenticity of their purchased products.

"It took several years of research and testing, but now we are ready to launch PulsLine," said David Edwards, product development director, Aquasol. "The development of the PulsLine took years because the adhesive had to be strong. Now PulsLine is the latest anti-counterfeit, anti-tampering security label available."

In the past, counterfeiters have cut under product security seals in a manner not visually apparent, tampered with the products, then resealed them with the intent of returning the product to a retailer. With PulsLine, a retailer can scan the seal and it will stop where the knife cut the seal, exposing the fraud.

Designed to carry advanced anti-counterfeiting features, PulsLine can be continually updated to ensure that companies stay at least one step ahead of counterfeiters.

Does anyone else reckon that SEO are about to make an announcement. I know a number of us have been wrong footed on that before, but try contacting them and you'll see what I am getting at.
