What about DOR?...... they have 10% as well

The most under valued HH developer of the lot!!!

Bullshare - 26 Apr 2015 18:14 - 102 of 541

A lot of chatter on the web about an impending RNS, don't think Mr Lenigas is a happy man this weekend!

cynic - 26 Apr 2015 18:44 - 103 of 541

why mike, apart from the fact that lenigas would seem to be a flake of the first order?
is he being outed for yet another scam or shady deal or whatever?

aldwickk - 26 Apr 2015 21:18 - 104 of 541

Never mind Mr Lenigas being unhappy , will the shareholders be unhappy ?

mentor - 27 Apr 2015 09:39 - 105 of 541

required field - 27 Apr 2015 11:13 - 106 of 541

Rising nicely...with an oil resource update : might go to 4p or a little more.....(just a guess)...

Bullshare - 27 Apr 2015 15:16 - 107 of 541

Cynic; You are right, not top of the popularity list but does have a lot of speculators following his many companies!

cynic - 27 Apr 2015 16:28 - 108 of 541

but why should he be unhappy - unless he has been struck off from holding directorships or similar?

Bullshare - 27 Apr 2015 16:30 - 109 of 541

Think its because some are questioning his integrity, allegedly.

cynic - 27 Apr 2015 17:11 - 110 of 541

now i wonder why that would be :-)

required field - 28 Apr 2015 09:41 - 111 of 541

Well......there will be a flow test later this year....should be interesting...loads of trades at the mo....

Bullshare - 28 Apr 2015 09:53 - 112 of 541

A very bland RNS on this on this one but does help to argue that the Telegraph assumptions might have been wrong this time. James Quinn was a journo here on Shares for many years and is a good guy.

required field - 28 Apr 2015 10:12 - 113 of 541

Sorry but could you be more specific ?

Bullshare - 28 Apr 2015 10:30 - 114 of 541

The RNS simply reieterated what has been said before about licenses over the past year, so no new news. Company seems to be worried about its PR and their RNS's not being misineterpreted by the national press.

James Quinn from Telegraph seems to have written a piece that displeased David Lenigas!

required field - 28 Apr 2015 10:33 - 115 of 541

so we are still awaiting confirmation of oil in ground (update)......and also appraisal dates....

Bullshare - 28 Apr 2015 10:35 - 116 of 541

Indeed. Reminds me of Falklands oil speculation

HARRYCAT - 28 Apr 2015 12:49 - 117 of 541

Spangel summary today:
"In light of the news that PEDL137 is in process of being renewed, it seems a little odd that the Horse Hill prospectivity has been hyped and deflated the way it has – it has created a headwind for the operator in the negotiation of the terms of the obligation work programme in return for the extension.

Still, we don’t believe that the licence will be rescinded, or not extended, but the demands will be onerous on the group to fulfil, and given the planning headwinds, we don’t see a year being enough time.

We have noted that some commentators have also poured cold water on the potential of development of the shales in south England, to which we will remind them of Wytch Farm, which from a relatively modest pad, has been drilling out the Purbeck in Dorset for over 40 years, latterly using coiled tube drilling. We are not saying for one instance that this will be the solution here, but before anything is ruled in, or out, a better understanding of just what is possible might be required.

There is little doubt that Horse Hill is creating a lot of interest, and will continue to do so. The work programme that may result from DECC playing hardball wouldn’t just be good for the prospectivity PEDL137, but for the viability of the whole oil shale play in the Weald basin. Interesting times ahead."

Nice one Harrycat.....interesting....so there is a possibility...I say possibility that this horsehill could turn into a decent or even very decent production platform of some kind....long way to go yet but to me this is worth a decent punt....

required field - 30 Apr 2015 09:44 - 119 of 541

Crude rising rapidly......can only be good for this small company....

mentor - 02 Jun 2015 15:44 - 120 of 541

Is that the final point?
reaching 50MA soon!
