Iain,
Yes you need to uninstall it and then just follow James' instructions to reinstall.

Downloaded the free trial of SimplyChart and noticed this thread.
I want to subscribe but under my existing MoneyAM username. Reading through the thread is does seem it can be arranged but anyone know how?
Also is there a thread that discusses using the many facilities of SimplyCharts. There are loads of different types of indicators/scans but some are not immediately clear how to use.

FreeFox,
Although it is technically possible for us to do this, there are a number of reasons why we do not.
Firstly this is a seperate subscription to MoneyAM and therefore needs to be seperately subscribed to.
I note from your subscription that you are a Shares subscriber, this means you already have the premier access that simply chart would afford you on your current account. If we were to change this to a simply chart account your access would be affected in that you would not be able to access the magazine online.
If you decide to sign up for simply chart, you will still be able to use your current username to access MoneyAM - the simply chart username you chose and password we would supply to you would be valid for simply chart, and you would only have to use it once, when you intially enter it into the software. It would then be stored in there forever, as its only purpose is to allow you to update the product - you would never have to enter it again and you could continue with your existing MoneyAM login to access the site.
finally, if we did manually apply the simply chart access to your existing shares account, not only would you lose some of the features you have at the moment, but shoudl you decide you wanted to take out a higher subscription with MoneyAM, you would not be able to do it as the account would be set to the seperate simply chart sub.
I hope this clarifies things,
Ian

Brilliant package imo, no teccie problems, easy to use, has all the indicators for those cleverer than me, and cheap as chips - what more do you want?!

Famous last words (!), is it just me or is anyone else unable to download today's data?
Thanks

Velocity, Piptrader,
We are looking into the problem of the missing update.
Please bear with us.

Karl - just downloaded, and yesterday's data is now there, but not today's. Today's date shows on the charts, but no data.
