French retailer stays fresh with PLA
PACK EXPO WEB EXCLUSIVE: NatureWorks reported from the show that French retailer Auchans sales of its salads packed in rigid containers made from NatureWorks PLA have
hit the 1 million mark in less than six months.
The leading hypermarket chain will expand the use of NatureWorks PLA to package its line of pastries by the end of the year to an estimated 2.5 million trays.
Our customers response to NatureWorks PLA packaging has been outstanding, says Martial Guglielmi, packaging purchasing director with the Auchan Group. In fact, Auchan is expecting sales to double
by the end of 2005 and next year we expect to use 6 million trays made from PLA for gastronomy in the 300 Auchan hypermarkets and Atac supermarkets in France.

If the Pulsine product is brand new, why wasn't it announced in a RNS as this info does affect the perception people have of the company's future prospects and therefore the share price?

hi Paul,
why do you say that Natureworks are going to play a big part in Stanelco's plans ??
(are they not direct competitors in the areas that Natureworks is in ??)

Seems PLA is catching on, Starpol will hopefully do the same for sealed food containers, with Greenseal of course :)
Cheers,

Nasty death cross on the way, if that 50 dma breaks through the 200 I predict utter carnage.
Good luck all holders.

investors please be careful. Keep an eye on page 504 and the chart I posted 10074
It is almost testing the previous congestion zone at 14-17 and it will not take much to do a sudden dive. Going down much faster than it went up if that previous support fails

Bloody hell, we were working in a mortuary yesterday morning and there was more positive vibes from their clients than from some folk on here.
4p?? If you think that Snip, will I be able to tell my parents to give me cash this Xmas to buy some more at such an amazingly low price or will it be back up to 1 by then :-) Or do I sell out now and buy 4 times as many at 4p or will they still be over-valued, over-ramped and have no prospects then to?

Just remember folk - that nothing has changed for the worse on this share - indeed only positive news has been received. The fundamentals are still sound for medium to long term investors.
SEO are at several trade shows and conferences during october - including philadelphia - so all we need is patience (and a few green seal orders would not go amiss)

The problem is the fundamentals are crap, tell me where the cash is coming in from?
The market cap is still way over 100 million pounds whilst revenue is virtually nil.
You do the sums.

Sham - I said medium to long term. SEO have confirmed that even if they did not sell another greenseal machine - then they have enough cash in the bank to last another 18 months on current cash burn.
I remain confident that this company has a winning formulae and will bring these producs to market. - Just my opinion of course - but I have put my money where my mouth is.
As I have said previously - I bought in at 6p and would like to see 30p by Xmas - but if the timing is out - and it could well be - then it will be disappointing - but not the end of the world. As always - I will keep on reviewing and if I think anything fundamental has changed - then I will update my own strategy accordingly.

I'd sell then buy back when the trend reverses.
No advice intended.

Thanks Sham - I have tried that in the past - and every time I did it I got my finfers burnt and ended up buying back at a higher price than I sold at - so now I simply invest for the longer term as I am not skilled enough to consistently make money out of trading.

qc IMO only
I would place a stop loss at 13.5p and salvage some of my pot to live another day
if you are wedded ie emotionally involved with this stock wait for a long period of consolidation at the next support area of around 4p. When you see 3-4 minimum tests of support then consider buying again. DYOR and i repeat IMO

What a load of waffle on here toady .... LOL !
The next price jumping RNS could come out any second, and the shotrers know it, and just want to convince the longs to sell, so that they can get out before that BIG RNS arrives.
Not selling, not interested in the drivel.

I have seen nothing to convince me that 4p is a realistic target in the slightest. I have held for many years when 4p was as good as it got and the company, IMO, had little or no products at that time. Now, like it or not we have.
I cannot see any way that a company with a deal(to be completed by next summer) for 200+ machines earning annually 25k each can be valued in some folks eyes at the same value as 1-5 years back when we sold little or nothing of note. And thats before any other news on the range of products offered by Stanelco that are growing by the month. Rather in than out I think to be honest. If I sell today Walmart will announce tomorrow!
