RTD - Why? (RTD)

Nitefly - 15 Sep 2003 10:55

Why are we again at 10.5p bid?

It doesn't add up...

Good Results + Strong buying pre results + Christmas online buying soon = Price drop

Then again some companies that have debt for equity hanging in the balance, poor results and bankruptcy around the corner and they go up!

Why sell now at a loss?

Wont that be a kick in the teeth when we see 13.5p 14p again!

Best of luck all.

Have learned to check with broker true curent buy/sell price reveals many of trades listed as sell actualy buys gives much better picture(understand why M.A list as)

apple - 02 Apr 2004 14:09 - 1016 of 2406

Douggie

How did you check that?

Is there a nominee account broker that will tell you or is it an ordinary expensive broker that told you?

robstuff - 02 Apr 2004 14:31 - 1017 of 2406

Buyers are back in force and although it didn't reach my target I got in this morning so hope for a mark up next week. I believe we should see plenty of positive comment now and see a short term rise in price.

Fundamentalist - 02 Apr 2004 15:34 - 1018 of 2406

Good news - director buying - Richard Amos (FD) bought 100K today

robstuff - 02 Apr 2004 15:40 - 1019 of 2406

Hey hey here we go, always good news - should climb well next week IMHO

Tokyo - 02 Apr 2004 15:47 - 1020 of 2406

Have just had this sent to my e-mail account from RTD, as I'm sure most of you have too.

Wonder what the long term incentive plan holds for all of us?

April 30th seems to be the next key date, wonder if this share will give us the same ride as the latter part of last year.

Director buying?, more news & announcements to come?

Hope this is gonna prove to be, what we all seem to feel it can be.

Godd luck to all holders

Sentiment has certainly changed on this board, anyone know what they're saying on the others?

Fundamentalist - 02 Apr 2004 16:19 - 1022 of 2406

Across the road has been plagued by shorters for the last 2 weeks saying that 12p is imminent and has just been a slanging match - they have all disappeared yesterday/today - a lot of people posting that they are getting back in and then moaning that there buy has been classified as a sell!!!

Personal opinion is that we may now have seen the end of the short termers driving this down and the fundamental value will slowly now be seen - lets hope so!!!

chartist2004 - 02 Apr 2004 16:27 - 1023 of 2406

Buy @ 18 while you can last time at this price...

robstuff - 02 Apr 2004 16:38 - 1024 of 2406

i agree, too late as it should be marked up first thing Monday.

Fundamentalist - 02 Apr 2004 16:48 - 1025 of 2406

Scotinvestor - nice post across the road but you're wasting your time mate - I agree fully with you but you will always get that there. I lurk over there but 95% of the threads are ramp/deramp bickering and it takes ages to sift thru to see if there is any decent info hiding.

Tokyo - 02 Apr 2004 16:51 - 1026 of 2406

what other investor boards are you guys looking at?

Fundamentalist - 02 Apr 2004 17:13 - 1027 of 2406

ADVFN mainly and occasionally iii and motley fool but prefer moneyam to all the others - i only lurk there i don't post (except when my posts from here have been copied over there)

scotinvestor - 02 Apr 2004 21:21 - 1028 of 2406

cheers fundamentalist

Douggie - 02 Apr 2004 21:27 - 1029 of 2406

apple saga online nominee probablly not definitive but better guide to trading price than m.am trade lists of late found many buys listed as sell same otherrs on my watch list

apple - 04 Apr 2004 21:17 - 1030 of 2406

Thanks Douggie,

What do you think of their service & their website?

Is there an inactivity fee?

I'd be most grateful if you would post a screenshot of the type of info you get that lets you know if a buy or sell.

BTW I downloaded their brochure.pdf but the screenshots in it are unreadable.

thanks for the list of sites Fundamentalist, had a look over the weekend, but agree with you, this board seems to have alot more information and is alot easier to use

overgrowth - 05 Apr 2004 08:20 - 1032 of 2406

Looks as though the buyers are out in force this morning folks :-)

Douggie - 05 Apr 2004 10:11 - 1033 of 2406

Rapidly overtaken by sellers ;-{{{

robstuff - 05 Apr 2004 10:18 - 1034 of 2406

Why have the sellers returned? Can't understand selling at this price, are people locking in their gains for the tax yr and if so will the price rise for the rest of the week? MMs will be making loads if they've been accumulating stock this way and the buyers return as at this price they are severely undervalued. The directors obviously believe so too and they know how well business is.
