Ah, Jeffmack, that is so sweet. I say this coz it seems that you have to truly love someone in order for you to assemble their flat pack purchases! A quotation from my dear Dad........ My Dad is more than happy to come and assemble, but I am touched Jeff! It seems I have learned a lesson, only buy flat pack if a bloke loves you ;o) and you can gaurantee assembly!!!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon all, it's the weekend again, hoooorah.
What's all this flat-pack stuff? My computer desk was flat-pack and I thought when I ordered it I was going to have fun putting it together. It is so complicated and so many parts I was quite concerned.
I was at work when said flat-pack was delivered and only her-indoors was there to receive it, but when I got home, there it was all assembled and ready for me to put my gubbins on it.
Now I know what you are thinking, but her-indoors said to me that the chap who brought it put it together, all part of the service. It took him 3 hours and he knew what he was doing! I can't believe that company made any money on the deal at all, especially since it came from Exeter.
Anyway, I've given up on flat pack, most of it is nasty and not necessarily cheap. I like real wood with mortice and tenon and dovetail joints, proper stuff. But that's enough about DIY, let's have a cuppa.

I didn't ask her, but at her age she's welcome to whatever she can get! I suspect it didn't run beyond tea and biccies though.

Talking about fast women, any of our cafe clientele into MPH. It's very nearly a one bagger for me now, I just knew I should have piled more into it but that's life. Just nice to have a winner so drinkies on me tonight.

Well thats nice, thanks Socs,
I'm really not sure what time of life I am in, I can either pull youngsters at the gym, 23-29, not bad in my opinion, or ancient old timers that fancy a good time! Whatever my age, I am unable to entice any one to assemble my flat pack furniture, and yes, I have tried Socs !!!!

If I lived in London I'd have come down and done the deed for you, after all London/Kent, just neighbours.
Sherry trifle makes a difference! It doesn't come flat packed though.
