I'm not sure about the nutritional benefits, Falco, but it's sure had a nice taste to it these last couple of weeks. Eh, Flossie?

Is the average trade time the time of day when trading, or the length of time the trade was running? Impressive record hope it's not a demo account!

That's average trade duration from a live Alpari account, Falco. I've also got it live on another account too. One trade a day - fixed TP and SL. Wins around 80% on cable and around 65% on loonie (although it's been on a good run lately). Average loonie win size ratio is higher, so PF for both pairs should come in about the same.

Falco. also monthly pivot at 1.4450 area, so interesting area, but to me the charts look negative atm.........but that could all change. 4 hr candle might give you a clue in 1/2 hour

Cable 2:05, loonie 7:45, Jeffie. Are you thinking of subscribing to Hiltops (soon to be released) Signals ServiceTM then?
Winalot, EAzeGor, LabRat, TripleMac and PipCruncher signals straight to the MT4 terminal on your PC via the power of the interweb wotsit. 50 a month per signal or 200 a month for the bundle.

i use candles. if you put up the 4 hr chart, from the spinning top at the beginning of feb, you've had a predominance of bull candles till the two dojis on the 9th feb and now the bear candles are bigger and out number the bull candles 7 to 2 so i would be looking to stay in my short(trade with the trend). For me it is an important area to watch(fib levels, monthly pivot...also got weekly pivot at 1.4560 area), but the candles will guide my decision

longer timeframes for trend, short ones for timing your entry

The 4-hour charts are sometimes called the dealer charts. There's a good reason for that.

I've been testing Hiltops WinalotTM for a few weeks and it's a very impressive piece of software. Seems safe - you'd be very unlikely to blow your account and it should steadily grow the account size. And it's really so simple, uses very little margin and works with any account size.
And I'm not on commission!
edit - just looked at cable - that's another win in the bag this morning :-)
