At this rate it will be at 3.00 by mid Nov.
If only IQE had done me as well.

i agree that this is a very interesting stock indeed, but don't forget that neither markets nor stocks rise (or fall) in a straight line ....... Both Dow and FTSE are now overbought and are due for a correction, albeit that that may only be for a day or two ..... If that happens, i would not be surprised to see some quite heavy profit taking in SOLA, which could then present a buying opportunity

cynic - are you waiting to get in, holding or/& waiting for the drop?
I am holding, but happy to take profit & buy again if your prediction is accurate.

confess i took a profit a couple of weeks back as i did not want to stretch myself, and had my eye on a couple of others that happened to do well for me - SHP and FTSE ..... I am now out of those too, and also TLW which is close to a quite strong resistance ...... So, i now have ample funds in hand as and when needed, and more to the point have managed to be prudent for a change.

Good to hear a success story for a change (fed up with oil dusters!).
The tricky bit is now knowing when the bounce will come, but a trailing stop should allow for that.

SOUL* ..... you were absolutely right when you brought this company to my attention, and i agree the company looks great ...... only really took profits as they had gone a little sleepy and i had my beady eyes (correctly for a change!) on a couple of other things.
As i said, if there is some decent profit taking, which is far from impossible within the next couple of weeks, then i shall be buying in again.

I have SOLA on my Newswatch here, and nothing shown ..... The English on the pasted document does not strike me as one would expect from a professional source, so treat with care ..... That said, SOLA is certainly one to watch, though it is always worrying when the lemmings jump on board

even so, i am reasonably certain (and i dare say Ian would confirm) that if there was a buy/sell note out from an institution, it would show on Newswatch

Evening all,
An excellent end to the week with Renesola and, by the looks of it, quite a bit of momentum behind it now to carry it forward towards the 3 mark for starters.
Not 100% sure about the Credit Suisse note that originated on you know where. Certainly the boys on the other side have got very hyped up about things and, quite frankly, it's not doing the value of my holding any harm so I cannot complain.
The general bullishness of the market has, of course, helped many of the Bulletin Board favourites so it will be interesting to see the extent of any markdown should the general stock market hit any significant turbulence.
Having said that it is encouraging to note that the share price has made steady progress throughout the week rather than a sudden jump up on no volume.
It's looking very good but don't be too surprised if there is a small correction at some stage before heading upwards again.
Ian

thanks for the input both Ian and Paul .... can't really be cross with myself for taking the profit when i did (at 180), as i certainly did very well with the subs, even if it seems i sold out (at least) slightly prematurely of my FTSE position ..... but no one ever went broke taking a profit.
i am sure i shall be back into SOLA, but have yet to determine the timing ..... greed and brain dilemma yet again!

for what it's worth, and i grant you the answer is probably, "Not a lot!", below see a summary from the MMA trades page for yesterday.
13/10/06 16:53 221.64 32,000 O 224.0 231.0 Total Buy 648,641 Total Sell 1,120,004 Unknown 160,341
so notwithstanding SOLA's strong performace yesterday, sells would seem to outnumber buys almost 2:1
