just closed rest of my jpy as my short term system has just given me a potential buy signal. it gave me a sell signal on gbp/usd just after 8.30 this morning

Actually, Gofe, I never look at margin. I've seriously got no idea whether I've got 1:100 or 1:500.

What I do know from my screen is that I've got 4 open positions right now and my margin usage is less than 3%.

The most important thing as far as I'm concerned is the balance risk to my account based upon my stop-losses (ie. the percentage that my account will decrease by if everything goes t!ts up).

try to keep to under 2.5% per trade...good thing this week!

Front cover of Moneyweek says 'Sell Europe will the recession trash the Euro? They did a simialr one last Summer re. Sterling, it went up briefly and has been heading South ever since...must get this old Norton over to Germany and sold pronto!

I did, Gofe, but I'm really starting to get cheesed off with sterling being stuck in this $1.40 - $1.43 range. My trend following strategies have been taking a pasting for a few weeks now. My net gain for the last month has been about zero.

I know it's swings and roundabouts, but I wouldn't mind a go on the slide!

talking about sliding, got a txt from a friend saying snow great and so she's decided to stay on till the end of the season!

ODL MT4 updated to build 4 - 221 but Alpari is still on build 4 - 220. Did anyones Alpari update?

Some pundits see cable bouncing hard off 4 hour channel or the fibonacci boys would find near coincident cluster points off a daily from previous low, bullish Gartley and from the next low, bullish butterfly and a completed ABCD in the area just above yesterdays lows. We'll see?

Well the Euro seems to be on steroids at the moment despite the bearish forecasts,much to my cost!
