Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Stan - 27 Nov 2018 17:30 - 10378 of 12628

Talking of going?..when are you going Alf? 😀

Cerise Noire Girl - 27 Nov 2018 17:35 - 10379 of 12628

Cyners,

Really, you need to take this up with your MP before the next referendum. Has Dilbert got a date for it yet?

:o)

cynic - 27 Nov 2018 17:36 - 10380 of 12628

now - home to cook some leftover chicken in a tasty white sauce with mushrooms and leeks and a jacket potato

Dil - 27 Nov 2018 20:02 - 10381 of 12628

10370 - lol hils , that fecking thick they didn't know they could vote ??? How stupid are they , sheep up here knew the score. People that stupid shouldn't be allowed to vote , even Fred knew but just couldn't be arsed.

ExecLine - 27 Nov 2018 20:16 - 10382 of 12628

".........because they didn't know they could vote........."

Stan - 28 Nov 2018 06:48 - 10384 of 12628

Well this should be a laugh and a half https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-46366162

I wonder what excuses and abuse some of you outers will be spouting today.

cynic - 28 Nov 2018 08:32 - 10385 of 12628

do you believe anyone at all?
mail headline shows clear public support for the deal, so it must be true

Cerise Noire Girl - 28 Nov 2018 09:18 - 10386 of 12628

Dilbert,

Please don't tell me that you're surprised at the stupidity levels of the British. There's enough of them on here for you to have realised by now.

Stan - 28 Nov 2018 09:20 - 10387 of 12628

The Daily Mail? that's the same rag that was Fascist and pro Hitler in the 30/40's isn't it, so is that all you have to quote from Alf, desperate times indeed for you Little Englanders... I think you will agree!

Fred1new - 28 Nov 2018 09:24 - 10388 of 12628

Manuel,

Of course, you can always trust Theresa May and the tories.

Look at their track record and the barrows they push.

A good bet would be one of the funds being started by one of their star loyalist in Dublin.

A vote of confidence for Brexiteers.

Dil - 28 Nov 2018 12:28 - 10389 of 12628

Hils , to be honest yes I was surprised to find out how stupid ex pats are.

Clocktower - 28 Nov 2018 12:36 - 10390 of 12628

TM putting up a good fight today but desperate times for her.

Cerise Noire Girl - 28 Nov 2018 13:36 - 10391 of 12628

Dilbert,

Some might argue that it's the Brits that stay in Blighty and put up with this endless nonsense who are a sandwich short of a picnic.

You're being let down big time by those who have been elected to represent you and look after your interests. This isn't just something that's come about over the last couple of years - it's been happening for the last decade or more. You deserve better!

ExecLine - 28 Nov 2018 14:32 - 10392 of 12628

The PM is going to be 'on her bike' any time soon.

Qn. And replaced by who?

Boris is favourite - but going out from 8.2 and presently at odds of 8.8

then we currently have

Sajid David 9.4
Michael Gove 9.6
Dominic Raab 9.8

In other words, the Tories are short of a viable alternative leader to replace Theresa May.

ExecLine - 28 Nov 2018 14:35 - 10393 of 12628

The next Labour Leader contenders are:

Emily Thornberry 7.0
Angela Rayner 10.5
Keith Starmer 12.5

Bit of a shortage of good possible contenders there too, if you ask me.

Clocktower - 28 Nov 2018 16:23 - 10394 of 12628

EL - The Tories are getting to the point of making a choice but Labour will not dump JC unless they suffer a loss at election time, which he could well win. In fact so many people just want change no matter who it is, that he is odds on to be the next PM at this point in time if an election was called.

If you were a homeless soul or single mum with limited income, or had suffered though lack of funding in the NHS - Poor Council management of Social Services then I suggest you would vote for JC to be PM.

My money is on Andrea Leadsom - backed by the money - ££££££££££££££

Claret Dragon - 28 Nov 2018 17:15 - 10395 of 12628

Mr Carney laying it thick. Just read his breakdown. Obviously 17million didnt believe the it could be that bad back in 2016. Better add a few more percentage points up and down to get the message across on the doom scale this time.

ExecLine - 28 Nov 2018 18:34 - 10396 of 12628

CT

Andrea Leadsom is my MP. She's very good but I don't think she'd make a good PM, in that she just doesn't appear to be forceful enough.

At the moment, she doesn't seem to be saying much one way or the other either.

Clocktower - 28 Nov 2018 18:46 - 10397 of 12628

EL - Yes she is keeping her head down and she is more forceful than you may think. They will not want another TM.

You may not think she will make a good PM but that does not mean the Tories will not plump for her in the current climate.

If she is your MP I trust you know a lot about her and her family members, if not I suggest you research them.

She is waiting like a Big Cat Hunts its prey, and she has the claws and a pride behind her to go for the kill.
