Bin Ladin is dead

mitzy - 02 May 2011 07:52

President Obama says its great news for peace and democracy.

Bernard M - 06 May 2011 15:34 - 104 of 140

What sports did he play

Fred1new - 06 May 2011 15:36 - 105 of 140

Pros.

That is what BL was preaching.

Greek,

How many times have you been stunned?

Fred1new - 06 May 2011 15:36 - 106 of 140

PS.

Or stoned!

cynic - 06 May 2011 15:50 - 107 of 140

fred - i'm afraid this is another occasion when you have got carried away on your own torrent of tosh, and no, i'm not going to waste my time shredding your joke logic and comment piece by piece ..... the guys and gals on this board have enough brain cells to see what nonsense you spout without any help from me

rawdm999 - 06 May 2011 17:30 - 108 of 140

adding an etc doesn't mean anything.

Carrying anything other than lethal weaponry into such a situation would be plainly stupid and likely to lead to possible indecision and the death of one or more of the special forces.

I know what I would take given the choice and it would be at the most two guns with ammo and a knife. I wouldn't even bother with cable ties to handcuff him.

greekman - 06 May 2011 17:50 - 109 of 140

So to sum up the weeks posts on this thread most of us agree that the derf of Bin Laden was deserved and has made the world a better place.

Mind you he obviously has at least one fan.

Note.........the anagram of derf!

Will be out of internet reach till the 15th as walking the Cleveland Way for charity.

Thought about being trendy this year and collecting money for the One legged, lesbian, gay gypsy benevolent fund, but after some though, decided to donate to my usual charity, the local hospice.

cynic - 06 May 2011 17:57 - 110 of 140

i thought the cleveland way was hurling coins at opposition goalkeepers

hope the weather holds for you, especially along the coastal stretch ... at least you should get some great lobsters en route, and if memory serves me correctly, some of the best fish n chips in uk at the magpie cafe in whitby

hope you raise loads of dosh for your local hospice too

Fred1new - 06 May 2011 21:42 - 111 of 140

Greek,

Why not keep on walking?

Dil - 07 May 2011 01:31 - 112 of 140

Fred you are trying to widen the argument but sticking to the death of BL , imo , however he got his comeuppance is ok with me.

Go watch all the videos he's made over the last ten years and then tell me he deserved a trial , he signed his own death warrant.

As for Special Forces carrying stun guns instead of real weapons your having a laff.

In The Land of the B - 07 May 2011 09:27 - 113 of 140

I see hay parrot's Hamas boss Haniyah has condemned the "murder" of the "Muslim Holy Warrior Sheikh Bin Laden."

Fred1new - 07 May 2011 11:13 - 114 of 140

He may not have deserved a trial, but, if possible, the "world" did.

The special forces are generally big "boys" and could carry a few extra tools, after all they carried BL's body.

Never met the Americans "boys", but have known a few British "lads".

Carrying out "orders" is never a successful plea in a court of law.

aldwickk - 07 May 2011 11:20 - 115 of 140

I wonder how long Dil will take before he catches on that replying to Fred's posts is a pointless waste of time , the only time i reply is to show him up as the pathetic little man he is, who else would create threads simply to wind people up.

Sequestor - 07 May 2011 12:51 - 116 of 140

Have none of the conspiracy nutters who believe that the US lies constantly, given a thought to the fact that it was the US who decribed Bin as " unarmed", could they be lying, ah now theres a conundrum?

If, as is possible he died armed to the teeth and tried to fight it out he would be morer of a hero to the nutters?

Fred1new - 07 May 2011 17:45 - 117 of 140

Seq,

Amusing argument.

But I think the media releases just shows how confused the Americans command structure really is.

Perhaps, their PR is organised by aids.

Dil - 08 May 2011 01:14 - 118 of 140

aldwickk , not got a problem with Fred having his own point of view and as for wind up merchants .... errrrr I think I was one of the founder members.

Fred , western world are happy , most of the rest don't care so to appease a few murdering followers of Bin Bag I think shooting him was fine ... I and most of the world can live with it imo.

I too know some "armed forces" Fred and they take what they need and that dont include toys.

As for court .... again , yer having a laff.

Regards

Southern puffters 1 The greatest team in the world 2 Arise Lord Alex. Roman should know money does not buy class.

Fred1new - 08 May 2011 18:55 - 120 of 140

Dil,

I knew one who took a teddy bear to bed!

Dil - 08 May 2011 22:45 - 121 of 140

lol

Bernard M - 09 May 2011 06:35 - 122 of 140

I wonder if bin laden had life insurance.

Fred1new - 09 May 2011 09:43 - 123 of 140

I wonder if the American action in Pakistan was attempting to divert attention from policy failures in Libya, Syria and Iraq?

Was it done for American internal politics, as it hasn't help them on the international stage?

I can't see that transgressions in Pakistan has help their escape from Afghanistan?

"Haven't heard much from Cameron or his crewmen!"

When does a rebel become a terrorist and when does legitimate bombing with "acceptable collateral damage", i.e. civilians as in Iraq become "terrorist", or "war crimes".

Confusion reigns or should it be "rains".
