What on earth are you doing up and posting at 07:58 on a Saturday morning? Even sadder than I. Don't you like 'Socrates', I thought it rather intellectual and had a certain gravitas, whereas 'lightning' was a bit frivolous.

I see many of the ex afn cafe people here, it's almost like home.

hilary - 25 Jan 2003 09:24 - 107 of 23498

Morning Socrates, old bean.

There's nothing wrong in Socrates. Vasey thinks it makes you sound intelligent and Jeffmack thinks you'll always be an old fool regardless of what you're called. Only joking.

:-)

At 7:58, I was the only one up and about. In fact they're only just stirring now and are watching Sky Sports! I did some housework, had some breakfast and thought I'd check on Joe Downs and pick up my download from last night. I've even created a thread on the Pay-per-View, so I'll copy it across.

TTFN.

Morning Jeff, Hil and old socks.

vasey - 25 Jan 2003 11:07 - 111 of 23498

Morning everybody! Thanks for the e-mail, 8 ball. HT, try something beginning with P. Forky, I love the idea that you've swopped a 'frivolous' name like 'lightning' for one with more gravitas ....'socks'!!!

Socrates - 25 Jan 2003 11:11 - 112 of 23498

Good Morning Jeff and 8 ball. Soon be time to go out and get the dailies, see what disasters are on the horizon.

vasey - 25 Jan 2003 11:25 - 115 of 23498

hil: I can't remember how to download prices into my EXL spreadsheet. (I tidied up this desk before Xmas, with the inevitable result!) You wouldn't know where the Idiot's Guide might be available would you? It wasn't that difficult, but I did it by habit, and now can't remember...

Socrates - 25 Jan 2003 11:26 - 116 of 23498
