Morning Bunny, Not sunny up here today, nice menu though it should go down very well whatever the weather and thanks for the beetroot. Hows the painting doing. Can you manage to get the paint off from behind your ears, sometimes difficult for bunnies.

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 10:28 - 10445 of 23498

Thankfully this round of painting has not involved ceilings so the ears
are paint free thank you Opto for asking and Hello!!
No this round has been
a re-match with an old enemy of mine called radiator enamel - come the
revolution the stuff will the completely banned!! Haven't used it for years
but now they have made it quick drying, making it an even bigger 'buzzard'
to use then it was!

One said radiator is in the bathroom, so I've masked out the wall behind with
newspaper (as you do) only to realise this morning that Gordon Brown is
the first thing you see now when you reach for the loo paper...(giggle)
Better get the newspaper down fast actually, he may suddenly see another
tax potential opportunity otherwise.....

Hello to Sputnik (I think I'll call you spuddy if that's OK, rabbits aren't
very into high-tech-stuffie and rockets and that...Welcome anyway!!

Hello to Loadsdosh...another long name..may call you Loadsa if that's ok
with you. I have made space on one of the shelves by the bar for your Buddha
can't possibly have this important fella hidden under a sofa guys!! Anyway
when I remember I'll put some fresh flowers in front of him to bring good
energy to the cafe - and might improve the smell....

Opto - please take the large bag of dried fruit and nuts I've got away!
I love the stuff and I can't stop eating it!!!!

optomistic - 28 Jul 2004 10:35 - 10446 of 23498

I'm like that with chocolate covered raisins!! That rad enamel, the first and last time I used it the odour was awfull, used ordinary gloss after that.
Going out on a shop now, back in later. Are you watching MTN (silly question)

chocolat - 28 Jul 2004 10:38 - 10447 of 23498

How's the left ear, opto? ;)

brockman - 28 Jul 2004 10:52 - 10448 of 23498

Morning All,
Great Buddha, he looks like he is preparing himself for the assembly of flat pack furniture. Here, pop a Phillips screw driver on his lap and let that be a reminder to everyone ;o)

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 11:06 - 10449 of 23498

Amen - Brockie - Chocolat glad I caught you - how are you?

snoball - 28 Jul 2004 11:16 - 10450 of 23498

Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...........

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 11:50 - 10451 of 23498

Indeed Snowie indeed.........How are you then Ommmmmm?

optomistic - 28 Jul 2004 13:57 - 10452 of 23498

OK Chocolat whatever it was you threw at me missed, must have been the Creme de Menthe affected your judgment :-)

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 14:45 - 10453 of 23498

Don't you mean your judgement must have been affected to go for the
creme-de-methe Opto (lol) mind you mint and chocolate is a good combination!

optomistic - 28 Jul 2004 15:02 - 10454 of 23498

Probably Bunny but it seemed to be flowing last night in here. Think I said something about 'hot chocolat' so could expect some retaliation.
Had a good shop took about 3 hours.
Shopping 15 mins chatting 2 hours 45 mins. Chatting won, all I really wanted was some milk and bread and stuff for my sandwhiches tommorrow, if it's nice weather will be gliding so will not see you in here.

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 15:13 - 10455 of 23498

Gliding - hmm sounds nice, bit adventurous for the bunny, air turbulance
plays havoc with the ears....Hoping for good weather then for you if you are
hoping to go. I should be employed with said paintbrush tomorrow after a spot
of shopping myself - or at least that's the plan and back in here Friday, in theory...

Gloss....well as one who has unashamedly painted all the woodwork in it
I couldn't possibly comment, it's not technically fashionable now, but then
apparently neither is laminate flooring which I am sure will please all
who either have recently installed it or may be right now...No my choice
was based purely on being lazy I'm afraid, emulsion is quicker!!
(PS don't tell Melnibone on the traders thread about the laminate flooring
he's been beavering away laying the stuff all week....Shhhh)

optomistic - 28 Jul 2004 15:25 - 10456 of 23498

All week and I thought it was a quick flooring solution this laminate flooring, Sorry about the gloss paint comment seems like I've put my foot in it again, now what are you going to throw at me, hope chocolat doesn't come in, I will have no chance :-)) but will enjoy the challenge!

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 15:47 - 10457 of 23498

Now would I throw something at you? Certainly not! (Eyeing Buddha...)
No seriously you certainly haven't put your foot in it, the deciding factor
on the gloss paint was the reduced price on the 'one-coat' version at the time
and I needed a fair bit, so that swung it.

It certainly is quiet in here this week - guess they are all sunning themselves
somewhere nice - How about a large scoop of GD's strawberry ice-cream in
a cone Opto?

Fundamentalist - 28 Jul 2004 15:55 - 10458 of 23498

Hello all

Been residing on the horse racing thread all alone (just me that thinks its glorious goodwood) so thought id pop in for a drink.

finished redecorating the dining room - wall painted, laminate down etc.

House I was looking to purchase has now fallen through - damn.

Got a new puppy on monday, a cross breed that needs training.

All gee gee team boys, if you are about please get in touch re the game

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 16:00 - 10459 of 23498

Fundy - yes saw you when I went looking in the traders room for any
regulars!!
House fell through? Oh sorry to hear that, must be an omen, probably has
a broken sewage pipe under the kitchen or something, better luck next
time, keep looking and ye shall find...

Laminate....yes..well passing swiftly on before I'm boiled on my own
cooker in the kitchen...(giggle)

WHat's the puppy's name? and is he house trained before you bring him in...

chocolat - 28 Jul 2004 16:08 - 10460 of 23498

Consider yourself challenged, opto...you might be right about the CdM affecting my judgement - my aim was considerably better than usual ;)

G'dafternoon bunny and fundy

Fundamentalist - 28 Jul 2004 16:09 - 10461 of 23498

Ah bunny, youve tracked us down i see!

The house fell thru because of the problems from the survey! Done the trawl of the estate agents again and will check the auction sites tomorrow!

The puppy is called Ben. hes 14 weeks and a bit boisterous and partly housetrained! A lot of training to do as hes a bit snappy at present but will be worth it.

stockbunny - 28 Jul 2004 16:13 - 10462 of 23498

14 weeks I suppose the snappy bit is partly 'tasting' everything to see
if it's edible and teething maybe??? Is he good at night, not a howler?

Afternoon Choccie!!! Want some ice-cream?

optomistic - 28 Jul 2004 16:18 - 10463 of 23498

Been in the garden for half hour, would have been back sooner Bunny if I'd heard about the ice cream... yes please.
Hello chocolat nice to see you again, early home today.
