Tanfield Group is the new company name of Comeleon. As I understand it, Comoleon was getting into trouble so TAN (paerent company?) took over. Since this has happened the share price has dropped by 0.25p each day for the last week or so (on average) and are now around the 3p mark with very little activity.
Does anyone know much about this company or previously held stock in Comeleon? There is virtually no info out there other than on the company website.
cheers
Mike

Kim, it is very tempting to add to hold, but I think I will wait until Tuesday. It would be nice to see some large buys go through.

Interims 30 Sept, then - probably looking OK, otherwise they would have been avoiding all shareholders.
Sp is still rather low and (posts here). . . it seems Institutions have bailed-out. (Maybe they were all conned by that 2007 1.60 Placing . . . . ).Can anyone confirm this was a cash-call - I understood this money bought Snorkel ( the big Cherry-pickers), so TAN would have low-debt. Is this the fact?
+ Hope TAN comes good, eh?
Of course these are dire days for US-UK constructuion businesses, but I'm hoping we'll be told Export Orders are up - in areas where there is cash - like the Middle East . . . . I hold.

Agreed; too much emphasis being put on the loss due to impairment. TAN is back on track; difficult trading times ahead but that is the same worldwide. No cash requirements. I like that!

UP 48% SO FAR. Should now retrace to the 30p levels short to medium term.

Well broker FinnCap has a buy rating saying that the group has proved it has stabilised cash balances, and that they believe the market was too severe. Fair comment.

It sounds good but this information is from the same management that led the company to collapse from 2-ish to 5p (currently 8p-ish). This is a similar scenario to Gordon Brown - do you really trust the Dead-hand/asleep at the helm to recover course and not repeat the process, even assuming all thse figures are accurate....?
-That's my fear and I distrust a sudden rise in sp . . . is this real Buyers, or MM's having a fun day.
Grief the rest of the Market is pretty dire.
Can TAN really be "that much" better?
Yes I liked the "No-cash required" - but a similar phrase was used by RBS, as I recall; then 3-weeks later, they pulled off the largest Begging-Bowl event this Kingdom has known....DYOR.
I note Buys/Sells =evens, with 10m Sells - hardly confirmation of Recovery - IMHO.
Did anyone (here) go to the AGM . . . do tell!
+++Next year, can we have the AGM at a London venue, preferably with a snorkel access so I can take some photos of the top of the Ghirkin....quite a Demo, eh?

 | Pretty brave call PT.. ;-)History would suggest 20p could be a good first target though. As you say, no hurry to buy. Recovery could take several years, and also depends on the wider economy. It's still on my watchlist though, and I might be tempted when markets settle...In my opinion.... Strawbs |
