chessplayer, if you like those shares that are about to take off but don't want to hand around for the 6 months that usually preceeds take off, have a look at PPR, all the groundwork/ waiting has been done and it is just taxi-ing down the runway now.

No stopping SKR, trades of 33/34p going through.marni well done on your investment, but always remember that a profit is only when you sell.Having stated that i'm holding tight for news, which can't be far away?

i have just looked back at my comment here from just 3/4 days ago ..... shame i didn't think of actually buying instead of commenting that the chart looked strong with sp at 17.5/18p!

Something must be afoot(and don't say a queer looking thing at the end of a leg) to account for what is going on!

thats why i hold shares for more than a day!
day to day fluctuations sort themselves out eventually and although this appeared boring share this year i have got my just rewards.....hey its better than putting it into a bank anyway so i was content leaving it here as through time it was going to rise as NAV was much higher

There is certainly a lot to Buffetts' philosophy "don't buy for a day what you won't hold for years"

as usual, you fail to answer the question as to why you think i only hold for a day or less
as for research, i leave it to the drones who enjoy that sort of stuff and then read or not as i choose

u buy by researching, doh.....check out balance sheets, management etc....as i expect u look for odd 20 quid profit.
templeman, buffett etc make hundreds of millions the way i mentioned and by holding long term
anyway i have feeling a sudden rise about to go again......what a week!!!

i buy or sell or short as i see fit, and with some success
you, of course, never ever buy a stinker (or answer questions), let alone admit to same, because you are so wonderfully brilliant .... indeed i wonder why you do not live in Monaco (Port Stanley as an alternative) with these huge profits you are consitently making
