Masterson

Since you went on about the golden cross for weeks when it happened here could you now describe in the same detail the signifigance of the death cross which is fast approaching?

I'm assuming that you do comment on some things not positive in the interests of balance and fairness, since it's going to 20 a share anyway it won't do any harm.

He reads all my posts but claims i'm filtered but to allow hin to answer without appearing to be a berk could someone cut n paste the question so he can answer please.

LOL Bosley, superb question, why didn't the previous owners sell it before seo came along as well?

Biscuit - 05 Oct 2005 13:12 - 10591 of 27111

They probably weren't even aware the technology existed as Biotec weren't looking to commercialise it I don't beleive and a simple point of why would they want to, as long as the public weren't aware either they wouldn't need to.

shamona - 05 Oct 2005 13:16 - 10592 of 27111

OOPS we forgot about that patent worth 75 Million pounds thats been collecting dust in the drawer!

Silly us:-(

LOL !!

bhunt1910 - 05 Oct 2005 13:22 - 10593 of 27111

Its pointless speculating about this - someone will buy it for what its worth. If there is lots of interest - then we will get a good price, if the tobacco industry does not give a toss - then it will be practically worthless - and lets not forget it still needs to be developed, licenced and taken to market.

The option for SEO to develope it themselves is not a realistic one - at least in the short term as this is not low hanging fruit - there are lots of other low hanging branches bearing fruit that will be harvested much quicker and with less effort, cost and management attention than this. I think it is a shrewd play by SEO to find out the level of interest and to keep their management attention on the other higher priorites.

Of course - the mere fact that they have offered the patents for sale - does not commit them to a sale if there is a massive interest.

Let the management team do their job - and time will tell if this has any value at all.

Ah, baza, a voice of reason on the IP value of the new cigarette filters

Respect!

The oily one

shamona - 05 Oct 2005 13:32 - 10595 of 27111

good post baza

bosley - 05 Oct 2005 13:35 - 10596 of 27111

well said, baza. that was my original point,

"but, as always, nobody really knows how much the ip will go for. might as well wait until some are announced."

let's cut the speculation.

I always wish I had the skills with crayons. I notice that October where it shoots vertically upwards has been omitted... lol

Snip - 05 Oct 2005 13:58 - 10599 of 27111

qc these are exponential moving averages ie they are weighted to recent price movements ie they are more relevant to a current situation. I use them all the time. If I could draw on these charts then I would put more data in but I am afraid it would only strengthen the `dead cross` picture which appears to be unfolding

Snip - 05 Oct 2005 14:04 - 10600 of 27111

for qc
the large white candle in october has a bearish stalk ie the price was being pushed down and it is a good sign that prices will fall. The doji on the right of it is an uncertainty sign ie the market was dithering. If todays closing price is at a low for the day then that is extremely bearish. Watch the candle today and it will tell a story

Snip - 05 Oct 2005 14:09 - 10603 of 27111

lol bosley. Only responding to the tone in a previous post ie death cross

qc - 05 Oct 2005 14:10 - 10604 of 27111

Only having a laugh, charts just make me laugh when I see them regardess of who wrote them, what direction etc etc

RIP though, a bit harsh??

shamona - 05 Oct 2005 14:12 - 10605 of 27111

Charts are the single most important part of playing the markets, if you stick to the trends you won't go far wrong.
