If a contract is really to be signed on Monday then I doubt SEO would have give a 60day option period from yesterday. It seems pretty unlikely to me. Just my opinion. DYOR

Yeah I was following the BB's then. That's why I will never pay attention to rumors when it comes to making an investment decision again. I've done my research and undoubtedly there are problems. But after looking into it I think all the worry about litigation issues and share dilution are being exaggerated. I would be extremely suprised if SEO does not manage to get a contract with someone! Look at the newsflow recently. Don't want to insult anyones intelligence here but its becomming quite clear what's happening here.

Adie, Jimmy, Andy etc. can you point me towards any other discussion boards which are relatively free from rampers etc. Or just those you regard worth reviewing? Thanks in advance ..

Agree, Biscuit: implies it can't be ASDA; perhaps 30 days but not 3 working days. Also feel that it is unlikely to be as significant as ASDA, We have plenty of news for the time being for the institutions to respond to. Then on the 28th we have prelims which could well give a bit more meat on potential volumes (R/F wrapped of course!).
Interested in this Evil business. It was commented that he and his cronies were active in ASC recently until they closed their positions and moved on. I checked the trades and, sure enough, there were repetitive 50,000 sells going through which were taking the price down. So where did they move onto: to SEO? Well, look at the traddes today. There have been some 15 50,000 sales spread through the day. Have these helped the market down? Well, thats 750,000 in all, which is relatively small beer compared to overall volumes. But the market has come down 1p from its peak. Does it matter? I suspect not a lot. Evil ran into problems in the autumn with ASC, it is said, trying to swim against the tide. Thus the motivation to come back and succeed this time: he probably did because there were no real reasons for the share to drop out of its sideways trading with a well-established support level. My view is that it gives a buying opportunity, which I have used with ASC, and the shorters eventually have to buy back in or close their positions. Other views?

Share Crazty is a pretty good one. Some seriously clever people on there and seems pretty devoid of the usual rampers, de rampers and general nut jobs who have nothing better to do with themselves than make up one bull**** rumour / lie after another.
Most boards, present company excepted, are full of two types of fools, the ones that make up the "stories" and the ones that blindly follow.
Hope this helps a bit

He may be an ass, but an extremely rich one!
Difficult to short a co when positive news flow is just around the corner.
The cooling of the price today is more likely to be people who got in early and have reaped the rewards. all profit is a good profit. Also T10 and T25 trades will be moving out of the share, cashing in after an extraordinary run. various BB's started pushing the stock hard in the relative near past so there will be plenty of people who will be getting off whilst banking a good profit care off their brokers money.
Imho this was to be expected at some point and those that hold from a lower price should stick with it and wait to see the outcome of the Asda situation.

Bosley, post 847, if only I was here I would have posted, instead doing my bit in the packaging world, my real job. Good job I wasn't here, would have got sod all done. Also missed on the Cockney banter, being a lad from the Midlands and living in East Anglia I like to take the piss out of the cockney migrants who live locally and claim to speak Her Majestys lingo, alwight san!! We had this board pretty much to ourselves last Autumn plus a dozen or so more with the occasional twat from BPRG telling us SEO would go bust, now theres too much to read if you miss a day!! Very tempting to add again, definitely not selling, any dips (dips for selling!!) will be buying opportunities. Long-Term holder here, having a great year with this, IDS and MMG, yes I am a very happy bunny right now.

Ample is also a pretty good site, you can always report posters if ofensive, ramping, deramping is posted, on Ample there is a very good poster "greek laywer" on the BPRG which is interesting reading, as ever make up your own mind regarding investing your own hard earned cash...

take NO NOTICE OF ANYONE WITH "INSIDER INFO" on a bb. they invariably have their own agenda. just listen to the news, watch the trades, watch the price and trade accordingly. at the moment SEO screams BUY imho

After a surge this morning reflecting news of the ASDA negotiations yesterday afternoon, a day balanced between profit-tahers and position-closers on the one hand and new investors plus accumulators on the other. Tomorrow could well be the same again with a slight movement one way or the other. Next week, we will be looking forward to the Prelims. We tend to forget Aquasol and Ingel. Based on the interims, we are likely to get a statemnt on the order book , if not revenue projections. The interims closed with the following: "Any one of several significant pending negotiations could significantly transform the financial performance of the group during the second half of the year". We are talking about the year to end October, written 29th June, so that appears a tad optimistic. Quite a long time, 4 and a half months, to the prelims, so it seems likely that there will be some update on year to date. Once we have the prelims out of the way, expectation will rise re the ASDA contract statement and It seems reasonable to expect that there will be a constant flow of news. Thus there can hardly be time for negative sentiment to arise. This is a somewhat long way round to supporting those who are holding for a forward run during 2005! I suspect those who bank their profits will regret doing so.

though i now rate this very highly i sold a small amount ( 10k ) for 15.75p. it still represents a profit of 350 in a working day. where else can you get a return like that?
