Apology? I'm not the person who screwed the thread up, remember?

But I'm sure Mikey is sat at the end of the phone awaiting your call....

Does anyone else remember Addo doing this?

hilary - 10 Jun 2014 13:56 - 10619 of 11003

I remember him doing something else though, Skinners. Anyone got a light switch?

panto,

I suspected a while ago that you might be the moronic mrsi who had registered under yet another moniker. Your last post confirmed that.

I'm quite sure that your days here are numbered, as it'll only be a matter of time before you next hit the self-destruct button. What seems odd, however, is that you keep coming back to a place you claim to despise so much. If that's not a mark of desperation, I'm not sure what is.

Any users of Chrome & W8.1 - my tabs have all gone a turquoise colour except for the one I'm on - all very pretty but..

Blimey, you got some tabs open there skinny.,.

kimoldfield - 11 Jul 2014 19:45 - 10628 of 11003

I don't use either of those skinny but could it be because you have opened the maximum number of tabs that you can use?

ExecLine - 11 Jul 2014 20:17 - 10629 of 11003

Don't forget it's 'color' and not 'colour'.....

I dont think you are limited by the amount of Tabs you can have open, not sure what could be the problem.Maybe be the problem is being caused by having so many ADV tabs open, not sure what that site would be :o)

kimoldfield - 11 Jul 2014 20:22 - 10631 of 11003

Lol!😀

HARRYCAT - 12 Jul 2014 10:36 - 10632 of 11003

skinny - 13 Jul 2014 11:56 - 10633 of 11003

That's not a lot BB! :-)

the 'problem' seems to have gone away.

Oh and thanks for the helpful (not) posts! :-)

Oh dear! Just in:

Microsoft pulls its August Windows update after users report crashes

Here are some notes and instructions on what to do:

http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/windows/3536718/how-uninstall-latest-windows-update-why-you-should/?cmpid=HTML-DN180814&olo=daily%20news

It would be a good idea to print these off before attempting to do anything to your machine.

Haystack - 18 Aug 2014 19:02 - 10635 of 11003

Above is the reason that I have automatic updates turned off on all our PCs and did so when I ran an IT business.

greekman - 19 Aug 2014 17:58 - 10636 of 11003

Mine crashed after the August updates and as my laptop would not allow the password box to open it was a hell of a job getting it to work. Typical Microsoft kept that quiet!
