Referendum : to be in Europe or not to be ?, that is the question ! (REF)

required field - 03 Feb 2016 10:00

Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

Clock still ticking , happy days Stan.

May going to tell the EU to stick the current deal where the sun don't shine.

We don't need a deal , we will be fine.

Tic toc.

ExecLine - 10 Dec 2018 13:16 - 10679 of 12628

Can't change any part of the deal without opening ALL aspects.

Put your £5 with mine on Clean Break,

Dil - 10 Dec 2018 13:20 - 10680 of 12628

Is looking more likely Exec.

Good position to start new negotiations from in April imo.

Stan - 10 Dec 2018 13:22 - 10681 of 12628

But that’s one of the points made E/L we have been really half hearted from the start of our membership to get stuck in...and stay at it.

Hence things in the EU have slid...frankly if your in a club and you don’t really take part and stay at it then it’s hardly surprising that things won’t go more of what we want!

ExecLine - 10 Dec 2018 13:33 - 10682 of 12628

As Hils has often said, there are/were ways we could have sorted out our 'immigration problems' whether we were in or out of the EU. But we didn't.

That leaves 'our lack of involvement with the EU'. Pathbloodyetic. I guess we were always going to be outnumbered 27:1 though. Could never fight that. That's why the EU was/is undemocratic.

Theresa May intends to postpone the meaningful vote
There will be a Statement to the House of Commons from Theresa May at 3.30 p.m.
The European Court of Justice has ruled that the United Kingdom can unilaterally withdraw its Article 50 letter

Sorted?

DEFINITELY NOT.

Clocktower - 10 Dec 2018 13:40 - 10684 of 12628

I notice the Remainers are reverting to personal attacks as they really are no wiser than JC and party that have no serious plan to uphold what the majority voted for.

Of course, do not forget Stan calls the 48% the majority :-)

2517GEORGE - 10 Dec 2018 13:43 - 10685 of 12628

DC tried to take part by asking for next to diddley squat and that got him where exactly?

One day those advocating to remain may realise that the EU is being run for the very few and any concerns of individual countries therein count for absolutely nothing.

This club is so one sided it beggars belief, European Union, Union my a--e. What exactly has the Union done for the masses of youth (18-24 year olds) unemployment in Italy, Greece, Spain etc?

Cerise Noire Girl - 10 Dec 2018 13:46 - 10686 of 12628

What's Maggie going to do or say at 3:30? Give No 10's curtain sizes to Jezza?

Stan - 10 Dec 2018 13:51 - 10687 of 12628

Again the outers on here “don’t know and don’t want to know”.. or have they some self interest that would benefit by the UK leaving?

CC - 10 Dec 2018 13:53 - 10688 of 12628

Dr Who to sort Brexit

Stan - 10 Dec 2018 13:56 - 10689 of 12628

More like a real Doctor for some of the outers on here -):

Dil - 10 Dec 2018 14:02 - 10690 of 12628

Hils , she's going to dance her way into the Commons pissed , then say bugger the lot of you I've sacked my whole cabinet and replaced them with the ERG and I'm going on holiday until April.

Dil - 10 Dec 2018 14:06 - 10691 of 12628

Corbyn then gets up and says he's going with her and taking the whole Labour Party too. SNP say och aye the noo and all go home .... and the country lives happily ever after ;-)

2517GEORGE - 10 Dec 2018 14:26 - 10692 of 12628

Ref self interest Stan, the Remainers are the self interest brigade, Blair, Mandelson, Heseltine etc.

cynic - 10 Dec 2018 14:28 - 10693 of 12628

whereas of course the likes of bojo are not

cynic - 10 Dec 2018 14:34 - 10694 of 12628

corbyn doesn't know which of the 4 horses he has backed is the most likely to carry the day ...... decisively indecisive which fred will tell us is an admirable trait to have, unless you follow one of the opposition parties

Dil - 10 Dec 2018 14:40 - 10695 of 12628

The really stupid thing in all of this is that the EU are going to have the problem with the Irish border if we leave with no deal.

Call their bluff.

Fred1new - 10 Dec 2018 14:42 - 10696 of 12628

Are the tory artists in the cabinet doing rehearsals for this year's panto season?

From what we have seen, Theresa would make a good dame with Boris as a clown.

They seem to have a lot of dwarfs and quite a lot of villains.

Moggie could play a leading role as the big daddy.

The EU countries are laughing at the scripts they have been shown of the coming performances.

But, the present governing "elite" probably would fail to sell any tickets or open the theatres.

Ps.

Dil and Cynic could dress up as usherettes and flog ice-creams.

=-=-=-=-=

All we need now are leaves on No 10' Telephone lines.

Dil - 10 Dec 2018 14:49 - 10697 of 12628

I was in a panties once Fred , Aladdin.

I was bloody good too.

..... Oh yes I was :-)
