No thanks.

Maybe Goldie will lick them for you.

jeffmack - 06 Apr 2003 08:55 - 1069 of 23498

That Vasey wins everything, she has won the grand national sweep. Well Done

vasey - 06 Apr 2003 11:33 - 1070 of 23498

First thing I've won in years, but to be fair, the horse did its bit too! Excellent timing too as I've got just the person in mind to share it with!

Socrates - 06 Apr 2003 12:53 - 1071 of 23498

That's great Vasey, I'll send you my address!

Bolddog - 06 Apr 2003 16:41 - 1072 of 23498

Is there any one here ?

Whats been going on ?

Who is Hot Lips ?

I knew a labrador once who always went around with Hot Pants in summer.

Are they related ?

Have to confess to being more GaGa then ever. The new password thingy that was sent out - well I seem to have droped mine down through a crack in the email system. So, Olddog comes back as Bolddog.

I see tha park bench is still out the back of the Tea Room. Did anyone fix up the WiFi link for it ?

Socrates - 06 Apr 2003 17:11 - 1073 of 23498

I've lost track with all these different 'dogs around. A proper K9 confusion!

Calfy - 06 Apr 2003 19:07 - 1074 of 23498

Well here I am to give a rest to dogs
GD,
Sorry to get back on to old news but I can't get into The Country Lodge.
Then I had a bit of trouble with my passport word thingy it was sent to e-mail address I don't use and then was re-done so this is my first visit to moneyAM I'm looking around.
Were there any operating typewriters at the antiques sale ? I found a few in our shed but they were proper antiques and didn't work. I'm supposed to be working now actually I have an awful lot to do a typewriter would be useful on the write on the sheets papers
Has anyone here heard of Bryanston School beause it seems when I mention it people say, "Where?" I can't quite develop a complex on this but it would be reassuring all the same to know someone knows of it.

Bolddog - 06 Apr 2003 19:43 - 1075 of 23498

Socks : No need for you to be confused too. It boils down to Olddog ( was me ) ,er, misplacing the new password thing and so all I have done is reregister but ( in view of my behaviour ) I am now Bolddog.

If you dont cheer up I will play some tricks on you, then you will understand.

Seems to me that just about everyone is a bear now. On the way up I think it took about 9 months from when everyone was a bull to when it started to break. Going down is a bit quicker than going up

SO what chance of seeing the bottom in the quarter after next ?

Arf Arf

Calfy - 06 Apr 2003 19:49 - 1076 of 23498

Not a bull though a calf
Perhaps,Bolddog, you should invest in a Physics course with your new theory.

vasey - 06 Apr 2003 19:56 - 1077 of 23498

Bolddog: Welcome back. You may have noticed we've been one dog short of a patron in the last week or so, so please feel free to stretch out on the furniture and bark at strangers for us. This place isn't quite like home without a resident woofer!

Hi Calfy, glad you found us eventually. Are you starting to think about your exams yet, or are you more focused on Easter holidays?

Kayak - 06 Apr 2003 20:11 - 1078 of 23498

Anyone with password problems should ring MoneyAM in the morning or email support@moneyam.com and they'll give you a new password for your old username if that is what you want...

BTW I wonder whether Golddog lost his password in MoneyAM's problems at the beginning of the week and thinks he's been banned again and got the hump... :-0

Calfy - 06 Apr 2003 20:14 - 1079 of 23498

I think I need an easier password- I can memorise for a short while but a few weeks the jumble of letters and numbers will get even more jumbled. I don't have to ring up for that, do I?
I'm doing quite a bit of work during the holidays, I have a huge folder of practice Scholarship Papers to do in the next few weeks, exams in May-suddenly seem very close-but I'm not working intensively and am trying to relax-good nights sleep etc. i think what I need is hard learning-of foreign language vocabulary, global locations and King's names and dates as in ruling dates.

vasey - 06 Apr 2003 20:27 - 1080 of 23498

Kayak: You could well have the answer there. I'll e-mail him via the internal and see if I get a response. Thanks

Calfy - 06 Apr 2003 20:36 - 1081 of 23498

Isn't it more likely he is just resting or without access to internet? I often have breaks of a week or two from various sites and , although he would say if he was going away, he may have not realised. I think that if he is off moneyAM he is off the internet. Or maybe he has nothing to say.

jeffmack - 06 Apr 2003 20:52 - 1082 of 23498

Calfy, what a well behaved student you seem! Surely you cant be that good.

Socrates - 06 Apr 2003 22:54 - 1083 of 23498

Hello one and all, sorry I missed you but I have been very busy doing a close inspection of the insides of my eyelids.

Welcome back Calfy, nice to have a youthful presence around. I presume you know you can change your own password by going to "My Account" at the top of the page? I change mine once a month as a matter of habit.

I've heard of Bryanston School, it's in Dorset as I recall, Blandford is it? Can't remember how I know this but must have read it somewhere. Probably someone famous went there and wrote about it.

Where is that Vasey lady? I fancy a glass of bubbly and can't manage a full bottle all on my own.

Kayak - 07 Apr 2003 12:29 - 1084 of 23498

Hmmmmmmm.....

Ursidae - 07 Apr 2003 14:57 - 1085 of 23498

Socrates;
Blandford it is. Passed by yesterday, some sort of running event going on.
I Believe people do this for pleasure. Next weekend thousands will be doing it in London. Can't work out who's the craziest; them that run or them that turn out to watch people running!

Anyhow, must run along now myself.

Socrates - 07 Apr 2003 18:32 - 1086 of 23498

Ursidae
I sit and watch them on the telly. Even that makes me tired!

8 Ball - 07 Apr 2003 18:41 - 1087 of 23498

Evening all.

No sign of the Dog then?

Very odd for him to leave us, with an edited heading here and on the game.
Their must be a woman involved somewhere.
