Thought I'd start a new thread as this is going to be a major talking point this year...have not made up my mind yet...(unlike bucksfizz)....but thinking of voting for an exit as Europe is not doing Britain any good at all it seems....

But that’s one of the points made E/L we have been really half hearted from the start of our membership to get stuck in...and stay at it.
Hence things in the EU have slid...frankly if your in a club and you don’t really take part and stay at it then it’s hardly surprising that things won’t go more of what we want!

As Hils has often said, there are/were ways we could have sorted out our 'immigration problems' whether we were in or out of the EU. But we didn't.
That leaves 'our lack of involvement with the EU'. Pathbloodyetic. I guess we were always going to be outnumbered 27:1 though. Could never fight that. That's why the EU was/is undemocratic.

I notice the Remainers are reverting to personal attacks as they really are no wiser than JC and party that have no serious plan to uphold what the majority voted for.
Of course, do not forget Stan calls the 48% the majority :-)

DC tried to take part by asking for next to diddley squat and that got him where exactly?
One day those advocating to remain may realise that the EU is being run for the very few and any concerns of individual countries therein count for absolutely nothing.
This club is so one sided it beggars belief, European Union, Union my a--e. What exactly has the Union done for the masses of youth (18-24 year olds) unemployment in Italy, Greece, Spain etc?

Again the outers on here “don’t know and don’t want to know”.. or have they some self interest that would benefit by the UK leaving?

corbyn doesn't know which of the 4 horses he has backed is the most likely to carry the day ...... decisively indecisive which fred will tell us is an admirable trait to have, unless you follow one of the opposition parties

The really stupid thing in all of this is that the EU are going to have the problem with the Irish border if we leave with no deal.
Call their bluff.

Are the tory artists in the cabinet doing rehearsals for this year's panto season?
From what we have seen, Theresa would make a good dame with Boris as a clown.
They seem to have a lot of dwarfs and quite a lot of villains.
Moggie could play a leading role as the big daddy.
The EU countries are laughing at the scripts they have been shown of the coming performances.
But, the present governing "elite" probably would fail to sell any tickets or open the theatres.
Ps.
Dil and Cynic could dress up as usherettes and flog ice-creams.

Dil,
There's no way that Parliament are going to let you leave without a deal. I know that you and the gammon keep banging on about it, but that option really has been off the table since Maggie tried to offer 'strong and stable government' and ended up losing her Commons majority in 2017.
I dunno if they drink coffee in Wales, but you need to smell it.
