Peter, if you want to get into predicting 1 day cricket games have a look at the Duckworth-Lewis algorythm - it is as accurate as I have seen.

if you havent looked at duckworth lewis before - be prepared to be amazed at how much detail goes into deciding what a total should be in a rain affected cricket match
