What a pity I was away from the markets for the past couple of days. It seems that I could have missed some great buying levels! It is encouraging to see people on other DES bulletin boards talking about closing out their longs, as this is often a sign that the last stragglers are out now out of the way - leaving room for buyers to come back in. Psychologically, the nervous traders bit the bullet under 45p and looking at the 'hammer' pattern this confirms that the squeeze may well have completed on Tuesday. Good to see stochastic divergence (momentum rising while price makes new lows)...another great indicator for a bottom. Not to mention rising trendline from 2003 and 200 day M.A. A move back above 48p would really be a boost to the upside.

Hi all
Well we didn't get the confirmation today. The open 0.4575p, high 0.4575p low 0.4450p, close 0.4450p, combined volume 554.0 K. Looks like we have had a strange day. Low volume, very few buys & less sells than normal. Something is brewing. Looks like the bears may become bulls tomorrow. As lynnzal says DES looks great for a buy. As markymar says Friday is a good day for DES. It looks like the bulls have stepped aside today, letting the bears do their worst. The candles now give us dark cloud cover, which is generaly bearish but I think the bulls are ready to rally.
Good Luck All

Hi all
The open 0.4475p, high 0.4550p, low 0.4475p, close 0.4550p, combined volume 279.0 K. The volume was down again today both buying & selling. The bulls were slightly ahead. DES up 2.25% since yesterday. The candle pattern is a bullish harami. The harami is suggesting DES may be about to have a trend reversal. With all the other indicators suggesting the same. DES looks promissing for a rally. The bears seem to be very few now. It may be time for some action from the bulls. Lets hope it's soon !
Good Luck All

Peak hope to deliver 30 wells worldwide this year so they are an experienced group. 3 wells in the Falklands will be a major contract for them and their extensive experience means that they should be a safe pair of hands to run the project. Now we just need to hear some news about a rig or drill ship being hired and our shares should spring back to life. Thank you Eddie for the good news.

Peak Group certainly look the biz and no-one should have any worries on that score I just hope next rns is the next(well known) farmin partner, as i feel it is the only thing that will push the sp to new levels.
I am very dissappointed at the lack of sp action today but i guess the market has a good memory and has yet to forgive des its earlier (98) failings. One things for sure, when des have confirmed credentials (oil quants in their acreage), the market and other oil companies will be forced to re-align the valuation and sp of des.( This will be ssss not pennies)
Keep up the good work
