Ample is also a pretty good site, you can always report posters if ofensive, ramping, deramping is posted, on Ample there is a very good poster "greek laywer" on the BPRG which is interesting reading, as ever make up your own mind regarding investing your own hard earned cash...

superrod - 10 Feb 2005 16:56 - 1072 of 27111

take NO NOTICE OF ANYONE WITH "INSIDER INFO" on a bb. they invariably have their own agenda. just listen to the news, watch the trades, watch the price and trade accordingly. at the moment SEO screams BUY imho

EWRobson - 10 Feb 2005 17:30 - 1076 of 27111

After a surge this morning reflecting news of the ASDA negotiations yesterday afternoon, a day balanced between profit-tahers and position-closers on the one hand and new investors plus accumulators on the other. Tomorrow could well be the same again with a slight movement one way or the other. Next week, we will be looking forward to the Prelims. We tend to forget Aquasol and Ingel. Based on the interims, we are likely to get a statemnt on the order book , if not revenue projections. The interims closed with the following: "Any one of several significant pending negotiations could significantly transform the financial performance of the group during the second half of the year". We are talking about the year to end October, written 29th June, so that appears a tad optimistic. Quite a long time, 4 and a half months, to the prelims, so it seems likely that there will be some update on year to date. Once we have the prelims out of the way, expectation will rise re the ASDA contract statement and It seems reasonable to expect that there will be a constant flow of news. Thus there can hardly be time for negative sentiment to arise. This is a somewhat long way round to supporting those who are holding for a forward run during 2005! I suspect those who bank their profits will regret doing so.

Wow, some big buys at end of day. Bodes well for tommorrow? Roll on friday

superrod - 10 Feb 2005 17:55 - 1078 of 27111

though i now rate this very highly i sold a small amount ( 10k ) for 15.75p. it still represents a profit of 350 in a working day. where else can you get a return like that?

andysmith - 10 Feb 2005 18:07 - 1079 of 27111

Great few weeks for us all, as they say down Landan Village, my old man said be a Stanelco fan, and don't sell your shares too fucking soon!!!!
The banter this apparent Norfener has with Smokey colleagues is excellent, don't fink me old ticker can stand much more san!!

wilbs - 10 Feb 2005 19:42 - 1080 of 27111

can anyone tell me what a B trade is?
wilbs

Biscuit - 10 Feb 2005 19:51 - 1081 of 27111

It's a Broker to broker sale. One broker must have either a large order to fill or be short on stock

bosley - 10 Feb 2005 20:07 - 1082 of 27111

evening all. welcome back andy. dont know what you look like but had this crazy image of you dancing around a room with your mobile phone as you heard or saw the news.i know i was. some very strange posts going on today folks. starting to feel like the bprg thread. dont really want to know about evil fucking knevil. if he wants to short , its his money. the vast majority on this bb are in seo for the long term . this is a good time right now. things are beginning to happen . we have waited a long time for this , personally about 18months (originally bought at 3.5p), and i want to enjoy the blue. dont spoil it with bullshit .we are all big boys here, everyone has dtor, we all know at some point this will stop , turn red , go blue , red , back to normal , so lets just enjoy it. there are other bbs for those who want to talk shite , for those who claim to be in the know, and for those wwo shit themselves at the mention of someone i used to have as a toy when i was a kid. (i used to have an evil knevil toy). nice banter:) and well done eric for another good post. i have forgotten aquasol and ingel. i feel that until there is something final as far as the cc is concerned , it might be best to do so . anything positive from the ingel is a bonus. but evos statement did make me realise why seo just wouldnt let go, not when they feel they could be making 20-30 million a year from pill encapsulation. buy recommendation in todays shares mag, but ends with "cautious investors could top slice their holdings for a free ride"
not sure what to make of that?

moneyplus - 10 Feb 2005 20:55 - 1083 of 27111

BOS-I know it's exciting but I'm not a big boy---mind your language!!!

Dynamite - 10 Feb 2005 20:58 - 1084 of 27111

A lot of ladies are investing in SEO Bosley..every day is an exciting day at the moment.
Di

andysmith - 10 Feb 2005 21:13 - 1085 of 27111

I think the point that Bos is making is that for months we have been a small band and now it takes off suddenly there are many believers and we are not mad after all. Excellent and well done to all,BUT, We don't want people continually banging on about BPRG and cc, relevant for a short-term issue/buying op & thats it. We certainly don't want to hear about some plonker called evil knieval (as rich as he maybe I don't really care), do what you like son, everytime you short we will buy and end up happier and richer in the long run. This thread is about Stanelco, stanelco, and INVESTORS in Stanelco. I am overweight on SEO big style now due to profits run but so what, that's why we do it isn't it, find the possible big-winner.

hlyeo98 - 10 Feb 2005 21:16 - 1086 of 27111

What is a T trade???

Dynamite - 10 Feb 2005 21:21 - 1087 of 27111

Andysmith I was in at 4p but I didn't start to post until SEO got going. Find the big winner...my whole portfolio is turning into a great big one at the mo. ....I am a lucky bunny to have them all SEO included. I must admit SEO is the biggest star at the mo, with NOP not far behind since I bought that at such a low price.

I wonder if there will be more good stuff in the papers tomorrow about SEO.

Bosley...I think the Shares mag are just covering their backs by saying if you are cautious top slice your holding for a free ride. They often say that about a share if it has made big profits.

Eric..It's nice down in Rye.. I used to go there often when I lived in Tunbridge Wells.
Di

EWRobson - 10 Feb 2005 23:45 - 1088 of 27111

Di: you and moneyplus are clever girls indeed! Welcome any time you are on the way to Rye as you pass our place! I'm with you too on keeping the language clean and I accept, Bos, that bad language includes B**G! Out quite early tomorrow and moving around all day but quite relaxed at our baby developing in a healthy fashion. Still quite small compared with its mid-cap future. One thing that really impresses me is the management and the way they have turned the company round using their technological skills when their core market suddenly went sour. It clearly has not been an easy ride for long term holders like you, bos. We're lucky to be around for this breakthrough. Answer to a man's prayer, as well as a maiden's: my key focus is looking for the emerging company, particularly the company ready to go cash positive, but its the steepness of the economic s-curve which really excites me here - I don't think any of us can really grasp the potential. So, people should do their short term trades but keep the core of their holding intact.

apologies to all who took offence to my laguage. dont mean to offend. yesterday i was euphoric , but today as i read the days posts i started to get annoyed. apart from a few bprg gloaters a few months ago , this thread has always been positive. the point i was trying to make is , that we are all adults and freely make our choices. its just i have noticed a certain pattern on different threads and didnt want this going the same way. as far as i can see, the good news has only just started. how can anyone short seo at this point???

wilbs - 11 Feb 2005 07:34 - 1090 of 27111
