JJ - Hi message rec'd - no my norton has been up and running for ages
I've probably hit some key this morning and screwed the thing up....

stockbunny - 02 Aug 2004 17:14 - 10733 of 23498

Hi Opto - bloody computer! It was fine this morning...can't understand
it...How's your day been?

optomistic - 02 Aug 2004 17:18 - 10734 of 23498

Hi Bunny PC is OK car is not, it seems the handbrake sticks on when parked. Comes off when jerked away from parked place, so no great problem. Booked it in earliest date is week on Tuesday, could be done right away but these people are fair and they only work on Fords, so they know them well. Large tea please, Then we will talk about your PC problem.

optomistic - 02 Aug 2004 17:19 - 10735 of 23498

Update ,could be done right away elewhere at a price!!

stockbunny - 02 Aug 2004 17:21 - 10736 of 23498

Tea coming up! Sorry about the car, sounds like an automatic, so I suppose
you can't swing on the handbrake handle thing? Don't worry I've got a couple
of pair of techno-bunny ears on the computer problem already, seems its to do with the
java applet thing...Have you had a good day?

optomistic - 02 Aug 2004 17:27 - 10737 of 23498

Yes fine Bunny, nice and easy today. Re the PC as you know the streaming needs the Java applet. Would suggest to your friends to go to www.java.com and download the latest FREE java package, very simple and the new java is much improved from the earlier versions, only reason I can see that they do not upgrade automatically is because they do not ask for your email address.
Tea is great I have the real version here, think I'll have another!

stockbunny - 02 Aug 2004 17:33 - 10738 of 23498

Thanks Opto, don't know if there's any food about..I'll check the fridge

optomistic - 02 Aug 2004 17:33 - 10739 of 23498

Anyway each and every one of you, who is responsible for driving most of my stocks down today? Only been out for the day. Just cant leave anyone in charge these days, will have to stay in tommorrow and sort it out :-))

stockbunny - 02 Aug 2004 17:35 - 10740 of 23498

I know the FTSE is down to level...but details I'm not sure of, will
have to check on channel 4 I suppose if I can't sort this tonight.

Socrates - 02 Aug 2004 18:54 - 10741 of 23498

Hello all, a belated entry from your favouite philospher today. Absolutely cream crackered and gasping for a gallon of something long and refreshing. I think a huge flagon of a mix of Vimto and iced champers will fill the bill.

chocolat - 02 Aug 2004 18:57 - 10742 of 23498

Oooh no, Socks, make that creme de cassis..

Socrates - 02 Aug 2004 19:05 - 10743 of 23498

chocolat
No that would never do, no way could I swallow a gallon of that!

chocolat - 02 Aug 2004 19:21 - 10744 of 23498

Shove up then, and pass us the flagon..

Golddog - 02 Aug 2004 21:59 - 10745 of 23498

Would anyone with a gee gee account like to make a bet on which investment team will win? odds for each team stand at 5/1 ? and 4/1 fav for legs 'n' bums. These odds will change during the course of the game. :-) place yer bets whenever you like.

Members of the winning team game who have a gee gee account will have 4000 added to their pot each.

i need a cold bods.

Fundamentalist - 02 Aug 2004 22:09 - 10746 of 23498

GD

How can you have odds but have a fixed winnings of 4K ???????

Also, do i have any money to have a bet?

I need a guinness so i think ill join you

cheers!!!

ps great job with the game pooch - greatly appreciated

snoball - 02 Aug 2004 22:10 - 10747 of 23498

Fundy I think he has just added 4K to your account so you can bet on the game.

snoball - 02 Aug 2004 22:11 - 10748 of 23498

No, that isn't what he meant is it?
The winning team (not the winning punter) gets 4k added to their betting account (if they have one).

amberjane - 02 Aug 2004 22:14 - 10749 of 23498

GD - Blimey, it must be an age thing...you're getting very generous...

snoball - 02 Aug 2004 22:17 - 10750 of 23498

Those legs'n'bums have turned his head (or something).

Fundamentalist - 02 Aug 2004 22:19 - 10751 of 23498
