optomistic - 03 Aug 2004 09:23 - 10766 of 23498

Good morning all
Feeling hungry this AM has to be a FEB anyone care to join me?

stockbunny - 03 Aug 2004 09:37 - 10767 of 23498

I'll join you for the company and the pot of tea, but make mine
a continential please Opto - how's the weather with you today?
It appears to be trying to rain outside, horribly humid!

optomistic - 03 Aug 2004 09:43 - 10768 of 23498

About the same hear Bunny, one of those could rain/could sunshine days, probably do both. I really should stick to the continental, much healthier. Thats why bunnies are so agile :-))

stockbunny - 03 Aug 2004 09:53 - 10769 of 23498

Ahh it's all that nervous energy - weight is not an issue given enough
nervous energy and stress (lol)

So was it you who put the VOD into your team???

optomistic - 03 Aug 2004 10:09 - 10770 of 23498

Guilty! VOD was one of my suggestions, sure it will be OK but not too certain about it coming good in one week. Unrelated comment...........
Didn't realise that it was possible to wait until the weekend press and then buy stocks at the Friday close (is that how it is or have I misinterpreted?) Wish trading was really like that!!

stockbunny - 03 Aug 2004 10:17 - 10771 of 23498

No I think you are right, I have lost track of a lot of the rules along
the way to be honest (lol) was disappointed we couldn't get one of our
selections at 00.00 (snigger) but GD was too wise for that one!!

The market is so up and down right now anyway, plus it's 'silly season'
and volumes etc are odd due to holidays, it's anyone's guess what will
do well, but you do have 10 weeks remember, you can change one share a
week but there is a ten week time frame. I certainly expect to see a bit
more positive movement on VOD in that time!!!! Bet you can pick out the bunny's
choice? Given her usual Bunny Logic (lol) but I can't reveal any more than that of course as all other team
selections are strictly confidential of course!

optomistic - 03 Aug 2004 16:06 - 10772 of 23498

Afternoon 'all' ready for a pot of tea after walking to the village shop snd getting soaked on the way back, surprising how wet you can get in just one mile :-(

Socrates - 03 Aug 2004 19:04 - 10773 of 23498

Hello all. What a day it has been. Talk about sunshine and showers, why don't you. Cheltenham has been more like the flood today with some really heavy downpours.

Sad really, there was an open air antiques fair at the racecourse that was a virtual washout. I was at work earning a crust but her indoors went over for a paddle. Most vendors just gave up and went home.

OK, let's get that kettle on, it's much cooler here now so a nice cuppa is just the ticket.

Pappy - 03 Aug 2004 19:21 - 10774 of 23498

8ball - STORMY here now using the name PAPPY, are you about? I am in your neck of the woods 1st week of Sept if you fancy a pint!!!!!!

Golddog - Looks like our ploy of letting everyone else get in front of us in the game may well work!!!!

PAPPY

Sorry to here you all had rain been nice here all day!!!

Socrates - 03 Aug 2004 19:31 - 10775 of 23498

After all the rain we have had all day, I just looked at the Met Office web site and they released a severe weather warning for our area at 18:15 today. It can get worse?

Hi Pappy!

Pappy - 03 Aug 2004 19:48 - 10776 of 23498

Hi Socrates - Do you happen to know if 8ball pops in on a regular basis? I am from the old cafe GD used to run and am sitting quietly in the corner untill I get to know everyone, have a drink on my tab!

PAPPY

Priscilla - 03 Aug 2004 19:54 - 10777 of 23498

Pappy: hello! Strange to see the old gang with new names, isn't it? I expect my re-directional message is still pinned to the old burger-stand over in Clem-land. Should go and check I suppose, but....on second thoughts.....I'll stay here and make us both an Apricot Sour, I think.

How's life with you?

P

Socrates - 03 Aug 2004 20:04 - 10778 of 23498

Pappy
I know I'm getting on but the memory has not quite gone yet. I remember the old Stormy well and I'm sure you remember me as Forky! I still pop over there but since the cafe closed it's business only and not as often as before.

Socrates - 03 Aug 2004 20:04 - 10779 of 23498

Good evening Priscilla.

Priscilla - 03 Aug 2004 20:16 - 10780 of 23498

Hello, Forky.....funnily enough, I've just replied to your posting on 'the other side'....

Pappy - 03 Aug 2004 20:23 - 10781 of 23498

Priscilla, I bet you look good with the old Dyson!

Pappy

Fancy there being more than one onlyonestorm!
