hello hlyeo. well when you put it like that , its not much of a record. a bit like my own ......
the main reason i think it would be a good idea is because its all so recent.it was only a few weeks ago that he tipped seo and i think it was a week earlier that he did the piece on earthport and bprg . i think he would be a good person to do the piece as he knows both companies well , likes both , and he might be the one to make sense of the whole thing.i know a lot of people would be interested in his opinion. so , come on , tim , what do you make of the ruling and its implications?

willfagg - 05 Oct 2004 11:27 - 109 of 27111

I am concerned that the comment I read said that the damages would be possibly tens of millions! It would be useful if there could be some comment from SEO as to there assessment of the likely impact. I no longer understand whether there current price is a bargain or too high?

AdieH

Please post a link to the iii (retired barrister) post that you referred to below. I can't find it.

AdieH - 02 Oct'04 - 19:32 - 99 of 107

Staying out for now, some excellent post on BPRG on iii (retired barrister)it certainly does not look good for SEO the major patent given to BPRG the rest hang off this so if SEO wanted to do anything with these they would then need permission off BPRG. Compensation could cripple SEO, think i'll buy some more BPRG...

bosley - 05 Oct 2004 17:07 - 111 of 27111

well , well !! not that bad a day really . buyers back in , price up as well.

tipton11 - 05 Oct 2004 17:44 - 112 of 27111

good...price holding up but there are so many views I think the only thing is to sit it out for the moment.

AdieH - 05 Oct 2004 19:30 - 113 of 27111

Can't post link but you need to look under BPRG thread and look for Greek name, hope this helps. Regards AdieH.

bosley - 06 Oct 2004 10:24 - 117 of 27111

morning all. just finished reading the iii thread on bprg.truth be told , the guys over there know just as much for certain as we do here, i.e. f**k all!!!it seems quite a few people on iii are lawyers ( why is it we seem to think they know more than us?) but all they seem to be saying to me is .... if , if , if ....
the judge heard all the available evidence. he has made his ruling. bprg got the main patent. seo got two others. why would a judge do that if he knew seo couldnt do anything with the other two patents without bprg approval? he might as well have given all in favour of bprg.
as i keep saying , no one really knows or fully understands the ruling.both sides are claiming victory. im confused. im not the only one judging by all the posts i have read. someone needs to give us all clarity . come on tim.

p.s. there are some on the iii bprg thread who view seo as the devil incarnate and bprg as the righteous crusaders of good in an evil world. very sad.

hlyeo98 - 06 Oct 2004 10:55 - 118 of 27111

I think Tim has gone into hiding...

bosley - 06 Oct 2004 13:26 - 119 of 27111

anybody else read the iii thread?

AdieH - 06 Oct 2004 13:51 - 120 of 27111

If you hold SEO you have a different opinion to if you hold BPRG.

It cannot be denied that SEO have been found to be in the wrong! BPRG have been given the master patent, the other two hang off this! We will have to wait and see what the judge decides regarding the compensation and they transfer of patent/contracts etc etc but in my humble opinion it does not look good for SEO.

BPRG is rising and news is due out shortly regarding a new contact (Wyeth), lising on the NASDQ due 20th Oct so news should be out before then, large instituational purchase of bonds (they were snapped up), if you take all this information on board then I think this is some indication.

I hold BPRG, used to hold SEO but sold out to buy BPRG. DYOR.

bosley - 06 Oct 2004 14:00 - 121 of 27111

hello adieh . i know thats the way it seems , but dont you think it makes little sense in judging it this way. if the two other patents hang so much on the first then why didnt bprg win the lot?

bosley - 06 Oct 2004 14:02 - 122 of 27111

by the way i have bought in and out of bprg. same with seo .

AdieH - 06 Oct 2004 14:45 - 123 of 27111

Not sure but have been told the document from the case verdict is 67 pages long, haven't read it myself but as you say maybe someone from shares mag or similar might digest and raise the relevent bullet points for us to digest. Am happy to be holding BPRG and may jump in with SEO once further details are relased. Good Luck to all holders on both. : - )

emailpat - 06 Oct 2004 14:48 - 124 of 27111

The way I read it-
There will now be a further(hearing) to determine the mechanism of(transfer) of
(ownership) of the main patent to BioProgress,(together) with all other (patents) and
(patent applications)worldwide which are(derived)from the original main patent
filing. In addition, the Court will be asked to assess the damages to be
awarded to BioProgress for Stanelco's misuse of BioProgress' confidential
information.

AdieH - 06 Oct 2004 15:03 - 125 of 27111

You read it correct, can't wait for the hearing...

willfagg - 06 Oct 2004 15:48 - 126 of 27111

with the damages completely unknown arent you surprised that the price is drifting upwards?I find it impossible to assess how much of a future SEO have until i know if they own the rights to any of the products that support their share price! or have i got it wrong?

bosley - 07 Oct 2004 08:51 - 127 of 27111

willfagg ,i dont claim to be an expert in share dealings but i have seen what i think this is many times . it looks to me like people are buying on rumour( or speculation) and then will sell when there is any news. i AM surprised though that neither side has come out with a definative statement . or do they not fully understand the ruling?
