STORMCALLER - 04 Aug 2004 16:46 - 10821 of 23498

Has been a shocking day, and I don't even have any bskyb! Don't think my constitution could handle carrot-juice, though I thank you both for the thought. I have to go and have a rest now, may be back later.

optomistic - 04 Aug 2004 16:50 - 10822 of 23498

My word, Stormy is in shock!! Never mention carrot juice to him again, it may have serious repercussions

stockbunny - 04 Aug 2004 16:56 - 10823 of 23498

Did things look better for you in the end Opto? I ended up with 4 up,
did have 5 but one dropped back

optomistic - 04 Aug 2004 17:02 - 10824 of 23498

Not really Bunny AV. didn't recover much, may have a bounce tommorrow :-)
happy hopes there! nothing turned blue to balance the books, but it really has been a poor day in general hasn't it. Look forward to tommorrow, my flying day, all I would like is some blue sky and some soft white clouds :-))) would be very happy.

Socrates - 04 Aug 2004 17:24 - 10826 of 23498

Hi there, Socco slides back in with a searching eye, seeking out the kettle and gasping for a cuppa. Mixed bag portfolio today, too many reds but a few blues too.

jeffmack - 04 Aug 2004 18:47 - 10827 of 23498

I hate work and I hate trains and I hate train drivers who go sick when its sunny.

Socrates - 04 Aug 2004 18:52 - 10828 of 23498

Go by bus!

STORMCALLER - 04 Aug 2004 19:07 - 10829 of 23498

Socs,
I've left a pint of CdM in the fridge as the first installment in repaymant for your extraordinary efforts in team game (it's next to the biggest sherry trifle Fortnum's had in stock), help yourself to both. Enjoy.
Can't stay, have visitors.

jj50 - 04 Aug 2004 19:56 - 10832 of 23498

Let me get the Guinness for you jeffmack. I am in your debt. A nice little printer arrived this morning which means I get to keep mine to myself. Too good an opportunity to miss, thanks for pointing it out!

See, we don't always nag, nag!!!!!

jj50 - 04 Aug 2004 19:58 - 10833 of 23498

Sorry choccie, didn't see you there, evening. You must be melting in this weather or are you constructed like a Minstrel :-)) Cool drink?

Is it warm or am i just silly wearing three jumpers?

Socrates - 04 Aug 2004 22:13 - 10837 of 23498

STORMCALLER
I'm very grateful, but extraordinary efforts! Really it's a walk in the park. Fun will start after close on Friday when the statistics kick in.

I've never had Fortnum's sherry trifle, I wasn't sure whether to eat it or wear it but my stomach got the better of me.

STORMCALLER - 04 Aug 2004 22:15 - 10838 of 23498

Evening all,
Better not say "good" after a day like that, people might think I was being sarcastic, no offence meant.
In line with my latest fad, health and fitness, offered visitors choice of home cooked fare, or a restaurant meal, they disappeared out the door like I had shouted "FIRE", most hurt and need soothing...
What better than a gentle warm up exercise, I shall open fully wired and carefully chilled bottle of fizz, ideal for this warm evening.
Socs,
As ever your wisdom astounds, I would never even have considered wearing it, I am in awe!
