Bioprogress is a stock I have been in and out of quite a few times since it floated in May but not much mention here on the Investors' Room. Does anyone else follow this stock. I see it is up 1.5p today and a few good buyers seem to have appeared.

bradley - I can confirm that I see all my GNI CFD trades go through on the trades blotter since I started with them about 2 1/2 years ago.
I suppose the news of their holdings is probably the cumulative amount held by traders, but can't be sure on this. Might ask my account handler next time we speak.

Also worth checking out Micap (MIC), a recently quoted small cap in the high tec micro-encapsulation sector with huge growth potential. This is a stock I like the look of a lot. Big correction in the last few days and the subject of an analyst upgrade. Earnings growth to 2005 will be 115% and forecast year 2 is 900%. They have an R&D expertise in the encapsulation of single cell organisms, in particular yeast which is a much sought after technology in flavours, agrochemicals and pharmacueticals - especially given growing evidence being demonstrated via in vitro studies showing efficacy of yeast based encapsulation in phase 1 clinincal trials (recently licenced 10 drugs to Skyepharma). GSK, Astrazeneca and Fertin are known to be interested in a licencing deal and feasibility studies underway - as revenues transfer into more predictable royalty based revenue streams then we should see the stock begin to take off. A real niche player, well managed and on a road to transformation as they move quickly into the cash generation phase.

Jumpin - LOL!!!!
joehargan1 - MIC was a company I looked at a couple of months ago. I might revisit my research as there's always more than one "BPRG". ;-)))

Big Al.... BPRG bit me in the bum this week, but with
some fancy footwork (and fiance scaring risks)
things have not turned out too bad.
Interesting situation this morning though, bought again at
106 as a punt on a run up to 110... my evil plan appears to
be on the right track... at 110 though lots of dumpers IMHO,
so I will have to cut short my fag breaks... ;-)
Having real trouble with a cfd system, Mans system cant
get past my firewall (whatever that means) so having to
get techs in!!

emailpat... IMHO From watching the stock over the last week, winterfloods
were driving the price down from the 120s. Probably in anticipation of the unwinding of lots of CFD positions, which again in IMHO, was why we
saw 14M volume the other day. At 94 the general press were saying this could
trigger a takeover, er... B***ocks... short traders buying back stock
and traders loading up again.
On the way down Wins took on a lot of shares at 110... cant imagine
they were then selling them in the 90s so I reckon they would like to
get the price there quick... problem is, seems to be resistance at 108
bid. If it can hold at 108 for a while then I believe we will see
it called 110 - 112... with Wins keeping the offer at that until
they have got some cash back!
After that we need an announcement... which was rumoured and ignored
this week.. apparently CEO is in Florida at a BPRG subsidiary doing
a deal with a far east company..
Again this really is just my theory, I have just got
engaged so my judgement may not be what it was previously... ;-)

Thanks for your comments bradley, this thread is much better than ample where I hold my shares, much more informative and less personalised views...

bradley007-have been following but not to sure as it gets a bit complex with all the posts and good/bad news etc and the looney house over the road. :))
Excellent summary and probably very near the mark.
This was one of the first stocks I bought and the best performing todate without a doubt, despite the roller coaster ride.My other investments since (March)have lost me money, bprg have provided the entertainment, stress, anxiety and kept me involved in this high powered game and am trying to build up to...dare I say it! DAY TRADING UGHHHHHHH.When I get a few courses, books,PC'S,and a s/b a/c sorted,I will have a go.The posters have been terrific and very helpful and speaking from my own experience which is very limited and not being computer literate, the only suggestion and maybe naive...but what the hell! is a starters package eg.ta,computer skills, systems, general knowledge, books, and most importantly a Trading/Investing style and I know, you will say it's all here.True... but not in one place but fragmented.Which leaves posters at the mercy of the WOLVES.
I for one would have been happy to pay xxx's for a simple starter package. Not saying I haven't learned alot, just would have saved time and research, again I know, time and research are good learning tools.I think you all know what I mean.;-) btw-DYOR,NAG,DIY,MFI,IKEA etc.

Good point emailpat... info is key. I have 4 screens, using sharescope,
Moneyam trades and level 2, my trade screen, and I keep a screen open on the bulleting boards, when I find a CFD system that actually works I am going to add that, mainly so I have the option to short, which my order system doesnt currently allow.
Have looked at other forums and prefer this one as the posters seem to be more
grown up!
Good luck all..
BTW, we are stil hitting the 107 - 108, could all those selling please stop ;-)

Bradley, I think so, but it really depends what you are looking for. Anyway just wanted to prompt you to at least consider them in your review of platforms. Let me know what you think. John

Cheers John BI calling me back with a demo
or something... we will see good reco.
BRPG dragging its heals, surprising that Wins are
calling the same offer as others, believe it to be a true
108 not 107.5 which seems to be the actually offer.
It all goes quiet now that NASDAQ is in the game.. what
is that all about, the volumes are miniscule. On some other boards
it has been ramped becuase of roadshows etc..
Anyone got any info on the progress (bad pun sorry) of this?

bradley: The driving force for this stock will remain the UK for some time. Significant time and energy will be required before the Nasdaq trades impact the UK quote. At this stage of the companies development having a US quote will really help US corporate expansion more than anything else. So yes, they are making all the right moves...but the real fillip for the SP will be newsflow. John
